LMAO I REMEMBER THIS PART AND VOX IS JUST PLAYING RUNESCAPE IN THE BACKGROUND🤣🤣
as a language student i wheezed at vox's reaction lmaooo
Considering VOX is British and British invented the English it makes this so much funnier
pretty sure Vox is right actually but this is still really funny
I do think Kyo is right though since it’s pretty much a synonym of ‘combination’ or ‘juxtaposition’.
It probably sounds weird because ‘I need to use a different conjunction’ is not a phrase you’ll come across in your everyday life, but looks grammatical at least.
But I ain’t gonna get into pragmatics, English isn’t my first language lmao
It's called colocation and it's kinda strict in English (but eng isn't my first language either -- it's just the reason most teachers i've had had given for it)
A conjunction joins words, phrases, or clauses, and indicates the relationship between the elements joined. Coordinating conjunctions connect grammatically equal elements: and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet. Subordinating conjunctions connect clauses that are not equal: because, although, while, since, etc.
U say English isn't ur first language but 😭my brain didn't understand ur comment
Clearly he’s never heard “Conjunction Junction” from School House Rocks!
Eeeeeeey fellow 90s kid
Conjunction junction, what’s your fuunctiion?
@@galaxb33 Hookin' up words and phrases and clauses
It’s giving Ethan trying to say skillet💀
Vox is actually right I think 🤣
is Kyo a living dictionary? lol
Kyos right here, and this made me laugh so hard 😭
being lectured by kyo about proper english is a low blow
the man can't even read normal english
Conjunction: The action or an instance of two or more events or things occurring at the same point in time or space.
So, it technically works? Sounds a bit awkward in this context though
The Ingerland can't speak English properly! Point at him and laugh!
Vox is correct
In conjunction is more like the word "together".
"I need to try x and y in conjunction" vs. "I need to try x and y together".
You wouldn't say "I need to try a different together."
It’s also a part of speech: A conjunction joins words, phrases, or clauses, and indicates the relationship between the elements joined. Coordinating conjunctions connect grammatically equal elements: and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet. Subordinating conjunctions connect clauses that are not equal: because, although, while, since, etc.
I think conjunction is more similar to combination than together.
And they never play, we were here too again, i was waiting for it TwT
I'm pretty sure I heard that sentence before "Action X and Y in conjunction" but I'm not sure if that was correct either
I’m not a native speaker so i’m not sure.. but i think vox is right. kyo’s sentence is a bit weird 🥲
Vox is right tho. "Conjunction" is a word primarily used in grammar instances, the way Kyo used it didn't make sense.
i think kyo is right but-
SUGAR MOMMY CAT????
Vox was right, though. The way in which Kyo used ''conjunction'' didn't exactly compute.
PPL Kyo's is right, it is usable in this case, not common but correct
Mate, your country INVENTED that language wtf
Not everyone is an expert on their own language I mean...I'm Chinese I could barely understand. Each language has it's complexity 🥲
I mean I’m English and I didn’t get it I thought they was talking about the grammar shit
