I’ve got an OG Collision. Honestly, it’s one of the better balls I’ve thrown.
Just had a Verge Solid drilled but haven’t thrown it yet.

My first ball from DV8 is the Hater, which was released earlier this year. It’s also my first ball from the original Brunswick Trio of brands before the Big B acquired Ebonite International.
It took a hot minute to break the cover in and figure out what it can do with the layout I have on it, but I made a damn good call on the layout (a weak pin-up). Just can’t miss too wide with a low ball speed…that HK22 base makes the ball read when it sees friction.

Have had several DV8 balls. The Vandal series was total 🔥. Also loved the Turmoil 2 (solid and pearl) and the Nightmare series. The Pitbull, however, was horrible for me.

I have the Verge Hybrid(1st one) It is speed sensitive. The faster or harder I throw it, the better she responds which is my wheel house.

I have the Violent. Will grab this for the step up. It has the same cohesion additive like the Effect. So shiny doesn’t really hurt it cause it still sees the lane early enough.

Enjoyed the brutal enough to drill a 2nd. Had a lot of house shot forgiveness just like Ron was mentioning. Didn’t enjoy the violent quite as much.

Update: getting the Wicked. Just got my first Motiv ball ever, might as well DV8 more LOL.
Got it today, pro shop guy suggested surface change to 2000. I mentioned this vid and suggested 3000, he agreed. Will be trying it out tomorrow! 🤞
