For those "producers" who try to make beats in 5 minutes, this shows you it takes time and thinking. Sit down and make quality instead. If you can learn to engineer, do that. It'll give you the edge on what to listen for. I started of rapping, and became an engineer and producer later. It gave me the edge on helping people write, mix, but also actually produce. This way you can charge artists for your beats as well as consultation , helping them write, etc. In the long run you're cheating yourself trying to rush through beats and not actually learning much but copy and pasting notes. If possible learn chord progressions and more.
I wished you asked him about his studio sessions with Dolph, Offset, and Key Glock were like. Great guy, great personality, I'm inspired as a multi displinary artist. I subscribed too
