Hi Paegent Empress, I love your account and I follow you on TH-cam and on IG as well. For this years contest, I will say for the first time I felt MGI provided fair results. Rachel from India deserved the victory. Brazil's placement was a shock for me but now following all her funny videos and great personality I get why she came so far. Plus her and Rachel bonded really well during pre finale activities. Mynamar was deserving but I believe her drama after the Natcos night was a sign for Nawat and entire MGI team. But I also feel, all the bloggers who put her as Number 1 from the beginning just to get Views from Burmese people are at fault as well. Her ego was boosted so much by these Paegent pages and bloggers that it get to her head. She showed a very bad behaviour. By what she did and by her ND attitude, now I know Nawat will never crown Mynamar for the next 20 years..😂. Anyways as usual Show had great production, an amazing and deserving winner. I just feel bad for Rachel that all the drama created by Mynamar and her ND and their team, stole the thunder of Rachel's victory.

I agree with the result. Each pageant is different, and for MGI, Nawat has stated many times that it’s not just the performance that matters. The most important thing for him is behavior since the winner will be working with the organization for a year. To the Myanmar fans, gone are the days when beauty alone was important. First, it's superficial. Second, beauty is subjective, and other girls are also beautiful. Stop attacking the chest of Philippines and the tummy of India. Lastly, a beauty queen should be a total package: beauty, behavior, and brains. Fourth, look at the pasarela of CJ-the presence is commanding. It’s not about the gown; it’s about the woman wearing the gown. Myanmar's style of walk is seductive. You’re a queen, not a prostitute, so it’s a bit inappropriate.
This Myanmar National Director has been banned for life from Miss Grand franchise. MGI are now in talks with other interested parties in Myanmar for the rights to be the new host/national director for Miss Grand Myanmar pageant going forward.
I would agree that her winning the crown will actually help MGI in the long run in business because many countries actually took an interest this time in watching the Miss Grand prelims and crowning process and got to know more about MGI.
