What you are seeing is hours of hard work matching genetics. This little baby doll's grandpas and grandmas were world champion cutting horses.
Training aside and show ring aside, theses horses worked cows in below zero Montana. She's a Ferrari! Worth more than 10 Rolex Presidentials.
Think Im full of s***t. I worked for JR Scott II who owned Paddy's Irish Whiskey and Doc'O Lena.

Beautiful Girl. You folks that cant understand, just keep it that way... They call Champions and a Horse Breeder and Elite Bloodlines THIS for a reason. Carol Rose is one of the best. Thoroughbreds go for Million$ but i always have a $UPER GREAT QUARTER HORSE, leading them..👍
    $146,000 is NOT too much.🍎❤👏
I wonder where this mare is today!?

This is the most sensible answer. I come from the thoroughbred world and a126k for a prospect is on the lower end. I think what people don't understand, is that a mare with this breeding and this conformation in a serious breeding program is almost priceless. It's not about prize money she might win, or even her foals. It's those, and then also her grand foals, great gran and on and on. The buyers are banking on buying a blue hen mare that could make them millions over many generations. These buyers are thinking long term, it's why they had that kind of money to spend in the first place.

katieee agree with you. Unless you are showing, reining, cutting, jumping, rodeo and so on I just can not see giving so much for horse no matter how good their pedigree is. It’s all about the money.

Damn sure is worth 126000.00 someone just paid that for her ....... Maybe not to you but........................

They said the same thing about a horse sold for $17k at auction. In the early 70s Seattle sleu sold for 17k went on to be a triple crown winner. Those folks are no dummy’s, or they wouldn’t have 126k.. Beautiful color, great pedigree. Like you said , time will tell.

Kevin yes and look at smart little Lena . No one really wanted him until a trainer bought him for a bargain and look what he became worth and did for the quarter horse world . Triple crown cutting champion and sold shares formillions and stud fees made so much money . If she does well her winnings and her babies will make way over the price for her .

I wouldn’t own a horse with it’s ass jacked up so high over it’s shoulders. Is this what people call good genes?

    • @Dobiegal

That is a baby. They are all what you call "downhill" until they level out at about 4.
Obviously you know nothing about horses.

Out of reach to the average buyer. Wasn’t like that in the old days before syndications.
