I think you should keep the piano in the play room, music is a massive part of being a kid and having a mum that can play and teach him to play an instrument even if it's not until he's about 1 he'll love the music being played to him so he can dance with Dad, it could be a massive bonding experience opportunity ☺️💜

I had a piano in my playroom growing up and seeing my mum and older brother play made me want to also start when I was super young and I loved it🥰

Babygirl, I don’t know if you’ll see this but what I’ve told my daughters when they’re preparing is; dress your baby the way you’ll dress yourself when you go out, the other 90% of the time they’ll be in sleepers or I think you call them jumpers and one more thing. Having a baby is the biggest blessing you’ll ever have...enjoy this time. You know the love you have for Conner and your family well the love you have for your child is absolute, it’s unconditional, it’s more than you love yourself and a feeling you’ll only have for them. I’m so happy for you 💙

When I was younger we had our piano in the playroom and it made us want to play it as a child which made our mum give us lessons and then we just kept it there when we changed the room into a second sitting room 💖
Could you maybe put the piano in the kitchen where the boys beds are? I’m just picturing next December, decorations everywhere, Christmas food cooking/baking and then Elle sitting playing her carols 🥰🤌🏼 too much! Or I’d keep it in the play room, could be a beautiful way to bond with bub or something to do together for fun when he’s a toddler 💙

swap the sofa and the piano around (kitchen sofa) the dogs can still sit on it but in the play room and watch the baby play, and the piano in the kitchen just fits to me :)
I have a summer boy too and when he was born he literally lived in little undervests and little socks because it was SO hot but thier little feet get cold..i also brought little like cardigan type hoodie things thay tou can just slip on if they get a bit chilly, but also rompers are so good because the longer leg ones are good for cooler days and the short leg ones obv good for hotter days! You can get some absolute beaut ones in next xx
I think it would be lovely to keep the piano in the playroom! As they get older they can play it and you can play with them! Could you maybe look for a nice cover to keep over it whilst they’re quite young just to protect it? 🥰

Could you put the sofa from the kitchen in the playroom and the piano where the sofa currently is? Then you can sit with a cuppa and watch the baby play in the playroom! Xx
Leave the piano in the room, the baby won't be moving around for several months and won't be standing either. And get a clip for the binky so it doesn't fall on the ground when he spits out. Also it's good to get bigger sizes in clothes for baby boy. Especially if you really like it, get it in multiple sizes. I did the same thing for my son before I had him.

Elle a simple layette set is all you need with newborns. It includes a white onesie, a night gown (nitegowns are best n easiest in the nite) that covers feet and hands fold over to mitts, a pair of socks, a recieving/swaddle blanket and burp rags.
The piano would look good where the boys sofa is !! And get a radiator cover, that could be a nice idea🤩🤍🖤
I’d go with the lighter paint! So safari vibes with the animals too😍 plus the darker one might make the room quite dark! 💛

Hi Elle - I’ve had two babies. I’ve had a summer and an autumn baby so I thought I’d give you my musts for a baby born in the heat! - long sleeve vests (H&M cross over vests) and socks my daughter literally only wore vests and socks in the heat then if we were going out we’d put cotton jersey bottoms (the H&M two sets are perfect for this) - lots of newborn baby grows, because you will probably be changing him 3/4 times a day depending on the mess. Micellar blankets are a must and giant Muslim clothes. You’ll only need a little hat for when they are first born so don’t buy too many I never ended up using mine. Try and stay as basic as possible because it makes you so sad when you realise he didn’t get to wear things. 3-6 upwards is for the cutest outfits, I always kept mine in baby grows majority of the time until about then. So excited for you, you are making me soooooo broody xxxx
I don’t know about any other mums but my son lived in baby grows for MONTHS 😂😂😂 so much easier to change and comfier! I highly recommended stocking up on lots of cute baby grows! ❤️

I love both the paint colours but the pint colour jeor I think is nicer for a child’s room as it gives a safari theme instead of a more sophisticated colour like the other one xx
Hi hun me again lol. Was just watching the second half and would like to drop a hint: if you wash those wee clothing bits a bit at a time so your not overwhelmed by doing all at one time, say... the baby grows/socks then jumpers/trackies and then all the vests 👍💋
Omg keep the Piano in the play room!! Music is a massive part of learning and sensory play. Plus it means to much to people to listen to music, especially at home from home!! You can teach and play what you used to, interstate your life and include your mum, his grandmother 💙

Everything is so cute!
My must haves for newborn are, plenty of vests as unfortunately you can get a lot of poo exploding nappies where it goes up their back! Most vests are designed to roll down over their shoulders (look it up! It saves poo coming up over their head) Baby grows, scratch mittens (or you get baby grows with the cuffs that food over their hands. Also hats and then little cardigans to layer up.
The net bags for the washing machine are also a must do you don’t loose little socks etc in the wash. Muslin squares are also a must! You get through sooo many! Also a good stain remover xx sorry for the poo talk but helpful tips! Mum of 4 xx

Elle & con are killing me with the advanced planning... Its giving me giggles. It’s so cute, but the baby boy play room isn’t going to be used for ANOTHER year and a half after he’s born. However, it will be great for when they have more kids.. and/or when the cousins come round. So it’s a good idea
why another year and a half after hes born lol many people put their kids in their rooms between 6 months and a year

Love both colours, I think I know why you like the second one Elle, as is a bit darker and it will give some contrast to the wall stickers. I can get Conor as well, he likes first as is lighter, and anything lighter makes the room brighter. I think u both have to choose which one. ☺️ Both are good btw. Have a fab week 😘

Love watching these types of videos, just seeing you and con happy for your next chapter, you are both glowing 😍 I had my little boy when I was young he was an October baby but what all the midwives and nurses were saying just make sure you have some booties and a snuggly blanket when he's born because they are use to a warm environment and they are entering a cold climate world😊😊 Congratulations 👏 you truly love your subscribers and the giveaway is amazing, I am so happy an Angelle collection gift card is in there😍

Baby will be in 4/5 changes of clothes a day. Vests, scratch mitts, muslins, baby grows, bibs you will need loads of. And not in my day as not invented! but those sleep bags they sleep in are really good. Hair brush and nail set I find you tend to forget. He’s got some beautiful outfits already. I love romper suits to, so cute. Yes keep piano in play room for sure. And loving the long vlogs, thank you for sharing xx

Girl honestly you will sort all of your baby's stuff now and then once baby arrives you change alot of it to what works best for you I done all of this with my baby boys room and literally the day after he was born I was changing things around so it was easier for me to grab good luck girl so happy for you and your little family xx
