I feel as hard as it is on you to be there for your pregnant friends, it's harder on them, to be there for you (if not harder). I would say don't pretend it didn't happen. You can be excited for them and still have tears for you. I wish you all the best in 2025!!!

Love this so much. Most of my goals for 2025 are 'small' but I think they'll be very benificial for me; doing some sort of exercise for at least 15 minutes a day, making my bed, getting at least 20 minutes of sunshine daily, etc. I also want to really focus on my recovery from depression this year and start noticing the small joys in life again. I'm also so excited because I finally got my pet hedgehog, Cupcake, today and I can't wait to love and care for her.

Hi Molly! Love your organization of your life in general, your word 'color' and listing two steps toward each goal. 🙌 My word is clarifimunication! It's a combination of clarify and communication which I really need to do with people rather than assuming they meant something I made up in my head! A couple goals are to rescue another Brittany, make plans for every holiday, including bdays, and find at least one person in real life who likes to do some of the same things I do like thrifting. Since I'm mostly stuck at home cause of my botched knee replacement, these are more challenging than they sound. But doable!! 🙏💖
Clarifimunication is soooo funny I love it 😆 I love your goals!! I think especially making plans for holidays will help a lot with clarifimunication! It’s always helpful for me to remember I have the WHOLE year to do these things, not just this week 😂

My word for the year is obedience. I feel like God is calling me to obey Him in every aspect of my life. Really devoting this time to Him especially in singleness. I would love to move to Tennessee and really begin to get planted somewhere now being post college
Obedience is suchhhh a good one but a tough one! ESPECIALLY when you are single! But the cool thing is that you don’t know where God will lead you, which is so exciting! I fully support moving to Tennessee if you feel like he’s leading you there! Moving to Texas was one of the best decisions of my life! So excited for you in this single season, I know it can be tough now but it will make you into an amazing wife 🤍🤍

My word from the Lord this year is Rely. I feel like its deeper than just trust. He said “depend on with full trust and confidence.”

My word for the year is home. I need to make the Lord my home again. 2024 really wrecked my heart in terms of a delayed timeline in the life I thought I'd have, but He can still make the life I have beautiful.
Home is such a good word 🥹 Even thinking about it makes me feel at peace 🤍
Will you ever make a video about your eating disorder experience and recovery? I know, at least for me, it would be really helpful and comforting to hear your recovery journey because am in recovery for anorexia and sometimes it feels very isolating when no one fully understands what you're going through.

❤ I want to join a book club. I want to get back into reading. I have been suffering massive migraines (curled up in the fetal position for days) that have stopped me from reading, but I finally got some treatment for my migraines, so I really want to get back to reading. ❤

Love what you said about jobs. There's so much pressure to find your "dream job". I also hope to be a SAHM and after my miscarriage last year and continued infertility appointments, my job is so flexible and mostly from home and is the perfect job for TTC, although it's often boring
Right! That’s such a blessing you have a flexible job currently! (TTC and loss feels like a full time job on its own) That’s what I’m looking for too, and I’m trying to prepare to be pretty bored day after day, but it’s better than being stressed 😂🫢

Have you considered working in a thrift store? Just thought of that as you were talking. Also, I think just listening to your friends and then maybe delivering a meal to them after they have their babies is a good idea. Most moms appreciate that.

My cousin and I were both pregnant at the same time. She ended up going though a late miscarriage, while I carried to term with no issues. It really came between us and our relationship never really covered from this happening. We both didn’t know what to say to each other. Me to her when she miscarried and her to me when I gave birth. It was very difficult.
Gosh I’m so sorry :’( I can so see how this would happen though. Being on the side of the woman who miscarried, it’s so painful and a constant reminder of what you don’t have and when you’re also expected to be happy for them. It’s sometimes just easier to not be around. But then that over time just creates distance which isn’t good. It’s hard for the woman who is pregnant to know what to do or say too, ugh it just sucks 😭
@@thelaundrychat The whole situation is pretty terrible all around. I am glad that you are talking so openly about it, though, because it really will help a lot of people who have gone though this on both sides. It happens a lot and is a part of life but still seems to be taboo to talk about.
