The Princess of Wales greeting the King & Queen in a gesture that was a perfect blend of fondness and respect....and the greetings extended between the King & Queen and their grandchildren were equally warm and loving. What a beautiful family! Their affection towards each other is carrying through all their looks and gestures. I am always looking at Princess Charlotte with delight. She is such a lovely little girl and you can already see, that she has a natural sense of responsibility. You can see, these children are being educated on a base of love.

It ceased to be a Abbey in 1559 when the Abbot and monks were expelled from 'their home' by the incoming Queen Elizabeth I. It was actually a functioning monastery at the time of her coronation. So I don't know why the CofE still refer to it as an Abbey. it has had a longer catholic history than it has as a protestant church.
