I’m going to buy one of these and use it as a bookshelf. They look great and sturdy.

It would easily function as a bookshelf. I’ve stacked even more on this unit since the video, and it’s held the weight exceptionally well.

I am hoping to have shelving units That I could store my snow blower, lawn mower, generator etc under when not in use. to do that the lowest shelf would need to be 25 to 33 inces off of the floor. Do you think that would work with this unit or would you be afraid that would make the unit unstable? How high up do you think the lowest shelf could be off of the floor without causing a ungenerous situation?

The unit is pretty stable, I wouldn’t see an issue with that. I would put the lowest shelf at the bottom, as that gives it rigidity. Same with the top, but anything in between is up to you.
