Very good video also. New and interesting info on open meadow set up. Wind is everything....also like the stomp to break a branch on ground when you are raking. Great stuff Spencer and good luck this fall.....not that you need it. Let me tell ya' :)

Hi Spencer, thanks for posting this excellent video. Do you have any wisdom to offer for calling in a cow? There really isn't much info available. Bull tags have been increasingly hard to come by in recent years so our hunting party has resorted to applying for cow tags. I've been told you can't really call a cow, and judging by our luck in the last two years, I would tend to agree. What do you think?
if you had to pick a period of three days to hunt moose in the rut when would it be? Thanks for the information.

Hey Spencer! Love this video, already training my calls. I really want to take some photos of Elg in Norway. As I understood it they are not completely the same behaviour wise as Moose. I would have two questions. Where do you position yourself? Like in a sense of if something goes wrong, do you sit in a bush or in between trees? Or are the American moose so friendly? :D and second of all, what do you do if a moose reacts aggressive towards you? Thanks again for this video!
