Few questions… does the x pipe perform better than the H ? & did you build your current differential or buy a another?
I have the 2014 SS with the automatic transmission. Im thinking of going to the 3:45's. I have the factory 3:27's and im lacking just a bit on the initial push. Im running about 1800rpm at 70mph currently.
I have a manual 2010 ss and I’m still learning about it but what is the whole point of switching the gears from stock to the 3.91 or 4.10 does it add power etc…?
Lower gears like 3.73, 3.91, 4.10 increases acceleration but decreases top speed.
higher gears like 3.27, 3.45 decrease acceleration but increases top speed Also can increase fuel economy at highway speeds
I bet it takes off real nice swapping the stock 3.45 for 4.10s. I’m thinking about doing 3.91s on my Camaro ss
Any update? I’m planning to get the GPI GM OEM 3.91 gear diff kit. I don’t have much room and tools, let alone the expertise for RWD rear end work; so I’m looking at a decent local GM shop work on the rear diff/axles for me, as long as the price is decent.

Been debating on some 4.10s or 3.91s for my 2010. How are you liking the 4.10s thus far?

Is 1st and 2nd much shorter? I am 3.91s right now considering 4.10 or 4.11's
