Jeep JK Rear Bumper Install

Installing new Jeep JK Rear Bumper. This could be very much easier removing the stock trademark lower / under frame tow hook, but I decided I wanted to keep it and fabricate the bumper. This is the walk through.
You can get one of these bumpers from www.extremeterr... both Barricade bumpers and Red Rock offer a model like this.

Mine has a weird angle to it. Water builds up around the spare tire groove on the bumper. Bummer!

i want to add a roof rack but don't want to drill into the side of my jeep so i want to mount it to the frame. do u think there would b any issues using a rack with this bumper?

powder coating is a waste of money.. rattle can them... when they chip... spray them again..
and why didnt you just drill the holes? why use a cutting tool?

shawn sabato - you gotta look around, you definitely don't want that... the factory tow package on the frame is much stronger. I had to keep looking around... this site has a few with the cut out notch for the factory package it looks like... www.morris4x4center.com/body-armor-rear-bumper-textured-black-ba-jk-2395.html you'll find more if you go back to their home page and search rear bumpers.
