RAD's 345: The FrankenSTARR

Got this up ASAP for the awesome driver - thank you again! I was almost surprised to see an older truck like this in Queen Creek, we had thought their first batch of conventional STARRs took care of the town. At first glance, it didn't look like their other 320 STARRs from Phoenix. This one has an air horn, is right hand drive, and the exhaust is on the opposite side. After talking to the operator, he said they converted a straight frame truck to what it is now, a STARR. Anyway, enjoy the quick truck and operator!

Great video! Bet the driver appreciates the right hand drive. Do they ever hook another body on the back for transport?

I don't think rad does that, not that we've ever seen. Phoenix used to years ago but way before we filmed them. Phoenix had to pull one trash one recycle in tandem because two with trash was too heavy.

Curious, do you gotta have you’re CDL A license to drive one of these or does a B license suffice?
