Well, I started out travellin' for the Lord many years ago
I've had a lot of heartache and I met a lot of grief and woe
But when I would stumble then I would humble down

Aren't these the same temptations that the devil tangled before Jesus when in the wilderness
being tempted by the devil?
When I think about the things
the devil tempts us with,
none of them compares with
my mansion God's preparing for me in heaven
where there will be no more pain or sorrow..
Following the devil will only bring
the worst pain of all, eternity in eternal fire, hell.
And I wouldn't be looking forward to eternal life
with my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18 KJV
Because of this
I wouldn't take nothing for my journey now.
You have offered Yourself
to redeem me, to pardon me,
to forgive men
to give me eternal life, not a temporary one.
What a Saviour!
What a blessing!
You have given Your all
for all of us!
