Don't forget that she plays a big role in the AoS novel "Lord of Undeath".
Also she appeared or mentioned in short stories and Eight Lamination series. Furthermore, she is gonna feature in her own solo novel that should be released in May.
I love these lore videos. It pains me though they killed off 2 of my favourite characters in end times - Settra and Vlad von Carstien.
I miss Vlad, classy as heck.

The Chronicles of Nagash actually suggest that Arkhan with Lamashizzar (Neferatas Brother) betrayed Nagash at the Battle of Mahrak. Arkhan struck a deal with the man to go back to the black pyramid and collect all the material if Arkhan was let to live and co-create elixir and the rituals. Ovbiously Arkhan is a survivor. Neferata knew about this years many years later... I'm skipping a few details here but yeah.. Love the lore series man, thanks

Loved this video. GW recently released rules for Vlad and Isabella in AoS. My question is: is there room for them in the lore now? They're my two favorite characters, to the point where the only characters that matter to me outside of them are ones like Neferata who created or serve them.
Hey Ezekiel! There is room for pretty much anything. It wouldnt take a lot of effort for a Black Library author (of you, yourself) to explain that Nagash looked through the endless well of souls and plucked Vlad and Isabella up for a particular mission. hope that helps :)
especially since vlad was motrach in the old world an to "get" him nagash had to give him his beloved

Yes, the hieroglyphs in ancient Egyptian are transliterated as nfr. And for simplicity most people say it as nefer which means perfect or beautiful.

Pretty much, but she spends a lot of her time manipulating the Vampire houses as well

I'm sure in lore New Lamia is a non-undead kingdom ruled by vampire aristocracy with undead used as support or labour. How else would a vampire survive?

You should read Nagash The Unbroken... actually tells you about Neferata... she had nothing to do with Mortuary cult... the elixer isn't flawed, she is poisoned and the elixer reactions to the poison... please, read the books and not the wikis lol

Neferata probably couldn't be more dissimilar to Nosferatu, and her name likely is based on Nefertiti, a female Egyptian Queen famous for being married to Akhenaten, the Pharaoh that tried to make ancient Egypt monotheistic, as well as being the mother of King Tut and maybe serving as Pharaoh/Regent to Tut.Also Nosferatu is literally a knock off Dracula cause the Film makers couldn't get the rights to Dracula.
