Story idea: there is a girl called Sophia from Kenya she had 2 older siblings named Daniel and Jessica Daniel was 6 years older than her while Jessica was 4 years older .she lived in dubai with her mom and her sibling while her dad travelled a lot.the story would be about how her siblings always made her mad because they kept on annoying her and how she was very shy at first but became brave. She met her best friend in kindergarten and her best friend was called Caitlyn they were very close until in the 5th grade Sophia and Caitlyn got separated because they were both going to diffrent schools. At ninth grade she met Jacob and became very good friends until Jacob confessed that he liked Sophia and he liked him backed . The rest of the story is about how she got married and currently had a daughter but she met her worse enemy Clarissa at her job because they both wanted a promotion to become the CEO of the company. Clarissa purposely sent info about the company and blamed it on her so Sophia found evidence that she didn’t do it and found some videos of her forcing other employees of the company to go against Sophia and Clarissa got fired and Sophia went on to reunite with Caitlyn and became the CEO of the company.

Gavin has a point though. It's dumb to leave the island that provides them with food and water and sail into the sea which by the way, can't be drink. Plus her parents are rich, I'm sure they can hire a team to rescue them immediately. They should've spent their time and energy into building a shelter to actually protect them from animals.

Gavin was right in the end.
Their decision to leave the relative safety of the island for the open (tropical) ocean on a spindly raft is nothing short of stupid. I am no expert on survival, but sailing on a flimsy flat raft made from strapped together tree trunks when you have almost no survival and construction practice, into the open ocean where you could drift literally anywhere, have little food, and run into frequent storms with the constant risk a small wave could destroy your only means of survival is stupid. Gavin made the right decision to prioritize survival on the island by building a shelter. You have a much higher chance of surviving and being rescued on an island than floating on the open ocean. Even if they had an experienced sailor, that raft is likely not sophisticated enough to control easily. Sure they could get lucky, but it's like shooting a pistol at an olive 1000 feet away (or whatever the max range of the average pistol is). Staying on the island and building a shelter is just common sense.

I actually agree with the blond, there's no way a raft created in less than a week with random resources created by two inexperienced kids will not sink in the first ten minutes, they would've all died miserably and created shelter and waiting for rescue was the best move
