They're worth more by volume than the actual house is at that point. XP Just get a new house and claim an unknown disaster for the insurance money.
Final Fantasy X allowed you to inflict certain status effects on bosses. I once beat the game by giving one of my weapons the Zombie effect. Any enemy hit by it became a zombie and if you cast a healing spell or item on them, it damaged them. You could one shot some bosses by using this tactic when you used a full heal spell or item.
More than half of the bosses in FF5 were vulnerable to at least one status effect, including some truly debilitating ones like Toad, Old, Death Claw and Level 5 Death. You could also use Dischord (Dark Spark) to drop some bosses' levels down to multiples of 5 and then use Level 5 Death on them that way too.
7:21 Fun Fact: In the Final Fantasy Series (usually more in the early games) Bosses CAN actually be killed by status called "death" or "exitus" despite it being listed as "resists it" in their bestiary entry. For it to work though, you have to hit the spell or attack applying the debuff/status at a certain ingame frame
Great ape vegeta was a slight challenge but doable, especially after I got the hang of the classic controls again just like back in the ps 2 days, fighting all 5 ginyu's tho now that was a real fight.
Damn Kevin at the end there, my man had the rizz to get a girlfriend and still blew it. I mean I am a woman, and I like playing Genshin too, but if you were to break up with me, I still would prefer in person.
to add also for example in Darkest Dungeon, bosses are not immune to everything. They can have certain debuffs but not all of them, it keeps the challenge and the fun of debuffing
7:25 I loved the gameplay in Final Fantasy 13, the Paradigm System was so much fun. I personally loved using Snow with Hope and Lightning because I could make Snow focus on pulling aggro while the other two focus on buffing or healing, and then Paradigm Shift to make everyone focus on attacking.
And then they informed Sonic after 50 chilidogs that they arrested him to save his public image as well as Heroics deeds to the human public so that they realize that the black hedgehog is not sonic and they realize that Shadow is a imposter and Sonic Works with G.U.N even has cool G.U.N theme gloves and shoes to help him take Shadow down, and Sonic's Friends join him and together with G.U.N they stop Eggman and Shadow from using Arc and accidentally awaken the Prototype and Shadow is put back in cryogenic stasis 😊
The issue isn't really that Great Ape Vegeta is hard, but rather people approaching the fight the same way they would a normal size character. Even in the older Budokai Tenkaichi games, you had to take a very different approach to giant characters. One reason for this is because giant characters don't get "staggered" by melee combos unless you are charged to where you can do your ultimate. And a vast majority of rush supers are completely useless on them as well. It's very much a fight where you want to fight at range almost exclusively.
During the early 2000s we joked about people being "let go" by SMS, now 2024 from SMS to Genshin in-game friend chat. What a glorious time to be alive man. ROFL
7:25 it’s to prevent people like me from cheesing the bosses. There have been games where I found the right combination of status effects that made it so that enemies literally couldn’t kill me or fight back. I then proceeded to use that combination to trivialize the combat for the rest of the game.
@@solitare4602maybe a better alternative would be make it so that have a chance of failing depending on the difficulty of the boss or their effects being halved compared to when used on normal enemies
7:31 I remember one game where you could do that, both the the other enemies as well as the bosses: Hulk. It was based on the Hulk movie where Absorbing Man is Bruce's dad. In the game, if you knew the codes, you unlocked certain abilities you could turn on and off whenever you wanted. 1 skill: Instant Punch. It made every enemy, no matter what they were, no matter how many hits they could usually tank from Hulk, go down with a single hit. It not only worked on both regular game enemies AND the bosses, you could use it both as Hulk AND Banner. So, in the stealth parts, you could get noticed, then just roll around taking out even tough enemies with a single hit as Banner. It could be quite fun at times
8:29 SO freaking relatable. I can remember my brother would have an internet cable run through the house, just to get good wyfy. Our parents and I would trip on the damn thing all the time. Also 0:14 broke me.🤣🤣😂😂
I’m SO happy today because I was on Reddit (for certain reasons) and one of the subreddits I’m following is the ninjago subreddit and they showed some minifigure leaks (and a gimmick set leak) and the main villain army the dragonians look SO freaking unbelievably sick (in a good way) like they are red monster looking creatures with big armour with a dragon jaw and lower teeth and then there’s a dragon piece with the tail and wings and then the top part of the dragon head which is a helmet piece (the top part of the head, wings and tail is all 1 piece) and they look SO sick like Lego didn’t just get a home run with the villain army they got out of the ball park all to the edge of the next country (whoever designed those minifigures needs at least 5 raises and 5 promotions) and this next bit is pretty much Lego ninjago fan only, so I have a theory that well I believe a leaked episode description says the forbidden five are reuniting with old allies (or something like that) so I think the “old allies” means the dragonians which use a dragon shatterspin and they call upon a shatterspin rising dragon construct that’s smaller than the rising dragon that goes into the dragonians giving them shatterspin but a dragon version so they physically become more powerful instead of their power being more powerful and they can fly and fight with their tail because the gimmick set has the dark red dragon head, wings, tail piece like it’s flying to the dragonian like it’s just a small version of the rising dragon flying
At 7:38 you should always be able to inflict status effects onto boss unless that boss is immune to a certain effect like in borderlands some enemies resist certain elemental damage
7:05 literally Persona. Been playing thru P4G and I can only think of a few bosses that actually had weaknesses, and I didn’t even bother to try and give any a status condition because it always fails
7:20 my opinions is that most bosses should be able to be hit with most status effects with them being immune to certain ones based on particular circumstances, like poisonous sludge monsters being immune to poison or a giant bat being immune to blindness.
lol, 100ft ethernet cable😂 I had one I got from GameStop cheap (lile ten bucks) and I used it for my game consoles 😅 It was funny to watch my parents follow the cable to figure out where it goes, specially when they had to go upstairs to find where it leads too.

7:30 the etrian Odyssey series is an advanced RPG series that doesn't so this shit, it allows you to apply most debuffs to bosses but most of the time they'll be resistant to them but can still be affected, hell many bosses have conditional drops that require specific conditions like die from curses reflected damage(in eo, curse will deal a % of the total damage dealt each attack while under its effects it's hella nasty) or a bind applied( bind essentially lock the affected character's (party member or enemy) specific body part preventing them from using any skills tha use said part like head bind shuts down spells, roars and biting attacks for example, arm bind prevents shield blocks/weapon specific skills, claw attacks or punches as well
To be specific bosses that aren't outright immune to any given status effect can have said status effect applied it'll just take a few attempts to do so
I think in Lies of P, status effects are all able to be inflicted on any boss. At the very least, I know the fire status does, since I used the Salamander Blade my whole first playthrough (until I got Steel Cutter).
The people that lost to great ape had a major skill and intelligence check. Some people just dont know when to switch the strategy. Since ape vegeta was the first boss with super armor.
Nintendo, please officially licensed the intro Mario sound with Mario screaming or a breath of the wild Zelda alarm clock that will laser you if you don't wake up when it goes off.😂
