@@EnglishGrammarForBeginners sir I am sorry to take your time but it will be your kindness if you answer me as i have been searching to find an answer for my questions for 3 days but i am not able to find which is about subordinating conjunction.
Some people say they join two independent clauses like» I studied my lesson after i played cricket. Here it joined two clauses which are independent.but some say it can joine an independent clause to a dependent clause. This is my question sir.if we say» I went to see him because he was sick.
So ( because) joined two independent cluases.sir how can we use subordinating conjunction to join a dependent clause to an independent. Tnx sir.

@@mohammadrahman9285 According to your point of view, subordinating conjunctions join two independent clauses I.e ( when he came near to me, I ran away. ) here "I ran away" is an independent clause but "When I came here" is a dependent clause because it isn't conveying clear sense......Hmm when you remove "When" from this dependent clause then it will be an independent like( he came near to me ) .... In English Grammar it is said that the subordinating conjunctions first make an independent clause a dependent then join it to another independent....got it? 😊
