New for 2012, the A7 is Audi's answer to combat the Mercedes CLS. A car with the sleek aesthetics of a coupe, the comfort / convenience of a sedan, with the added utility of a hatchback. Fit/Finish is almost flawless throughout the interior & it's seats are cozy enough to make one have a snooze. It's supercharged 310 HP 3.0L V6 is beyond adequate to propel this gem to 60 MPH in 5.4 seconds & to answer the cries for those who demand more power, Audi compliments the A7 with a V8 option for the 2013 model & it will be known as the S7.

Perfectly fine, the less the better, I drive an A5 and like the fact I don't see one every day, or even week. BMW, Mercedes and definitely Lexus you see at every other corner, stop light, highway....the exclusive factor of Audis make owning one just that more enjoyable.

Sorry Mercedes Benz, the A7 just took a huge shit on top of you! This car looks AMAZING, the CLS looks somewhat old if you ask me. The shape of the CLS hasn't changed much from the 2008 models.

Hi..I'm not familiar w luxury cars, but I feel it's calling me. I've always owned old cars, been working hard all my life and I deserve something better. I found a beautiful 2012 A7 3.0, for sale by owner going for $20K w 88K miles. My concern is the expense of repairs and how well this model does after 100K miles, does it still appreciate? I need your opinion, please...my mechanic says "no Audi's"...lol. thanks!!

I see this comment is 4 years old.. market is wild.. just paid $20,500 for one with 101,000 miles, crazy market!!! You coulda bought it, drove it modestly for 4 years and barely depreciate. Incredible.

The seat pulls out to be closer to your knees, if you're tall, which makes the seat more comfortable for me.

The 3.0T is what I'm assuming is indicative of TFSI, which as the name implies, is a "turbo" FSI.
The interpretation of "turbo" in this case is to be understood as "a form of _forced_ induction", rather than literally "turbocharged". And that is in fact the case because the 3.0T engine is super-charged, i.e. "forced induction".

Someone doesn’t know why this is mentioned with the VW CC I see,, same slopes, same interior, TFSI engine,, it’s an Audi version of the CC/Arteon
Im not a huge Audi fan, but i love these! (And to me, A7 sounds kinda like it could be an airplane model, Idk...)

To prefer a car over another....you have to own the 2 of them...and than say...hell...this one is better:)
FYI Prestige is the top trim but the 1300 watt Bang and Olufsen sound system is optional, good job as always though
For entry level and small, the bmw 3 and audi a4 is quite nice. If youre spending 70k+ get the big Mercedes CLS they're the best.

The A7 is turbocharged. The TFSI on the engine stands for petrol direct injection with turbocharging.

Haven't been around as long. It's more of a European hit than it's been an American one. My personal fav but to each their own.

First of all, the CLS is just a more angular CLS and it's hideous. It looks like a clinched fist and it's not a head turner in traffic. The A7 is virtually the same car as the A6 - it has similar engines, similar interior - but it's in coupe form. Exterior wise, it looks nothing like the A6. If you think so then you need to get your eyes checked and if you think the CLS looks better than you really have horrible taste because that thing is atrocious.

Either you have terrible taste or you're bluffing. You don't own a CLS. And if you do you'll stand up for it no matter what. In all truth it's just an ugly E Klasse four dour coupe with a crappy interior, lifeless handling, and poor looks.

Jake M No, they do this in all markets. Just an Audi thing. Some of their supercharged cars do have an optional “Supercharged” badge on the side.

Well apparently you like Audi just as much as we like Mercedes. I own a 2008 CLS550, and a 2013 CLS63 AMG. My best friend has this disgusting Audi and in all aspects, my car exceeds his. If you are going to go out and spend 70k+ on a base model for the Audi, and I get a v6 with just over 300 hp, My 2008 Cls550 has 382 hp. Not worth my money!
