The following is my statement about what transpired during the recent LBA elections regarding GCMs and eventually till the scrutiny stage of the presidentship.
1. I have NO opinion about 6th Schedule because I haven’t studied it. We MUST know exactly what we are getting into before asking for something! I remember since my childhood how my father (a Changthang Pa Ladakhi) fought for UT with many leaders but now we are saying it’s not sufficient/appropriate for us??? We MUST all know the pros and cons of a big issue before it gains unanimous support and politicians stay away from such ‘movements’. Once politicians get involved, it becomes a political activity and loses trust among many educated people. There are so many people who don’t even know the pros and cons of what they are asking for or demanding but following blindly, like we did when we fought for UT! I have much more to say about this but I like to keep my opinions about political activities to myself. And besides the people involved are some I don’t trust! I don’t like to follow blindly based on trust. I like to focus solely on the dharma and our Buddhist community. 2. There are many famous & ‘powerful’ people from all spectrums of our Ladakhi societies across religion and region demanding what they believe in. I never said anything against it since it’s our individual right to demand anything. But there are many other Rinpoches and lamas. Why always focus on me? Aren’t there other Rinpoches? I TRULY just want to serve our precious Buddhist society and that’s it. Just because LBA is a powerful platform which keeps getting misused for all other reasons except for the welfare of our Buddhist society and this year I had been asked to work in it some people are so vocal about attempting to drag me into something I HONESTLY haven’t studied about and have no proper knowledge of!! If your need for support for something from a Rinpoche is genuine, please ask other Rinpoches also! 3. This video was made to clarify about the recent unfortunate events leading up to the scrutiny phase of the LBA presidential election. If you want to comment please comment on what I said; not something I have no idea and knowledge about!! 4. I know some keyboard warriors are ready to always criticise me and try to drag me into something I HONESTLY have no proper knowledge about but I don’t blame you all. You either have an agenda against someone or some people, have sworn allegiance to some people, getting something out of it, or just plainly NOT sufficiently educated about it but trying to use my shoulders to shoot a gun at something or someone or some people. I honestly have no anger at you all for all your unrelated and harsh comments and I wanna say I love you all from my heart the same. 5. If anyone wishes to talk to me personally instead of using fake accounts to comment, you all know where I live. There are no shut gates and I live with amaley, my sisters, and a few dogs. Nothing to fear. You are always welcome. Love to you all 🙏
Chaktsal Rinpoche Khyen🙏. It is not us petty mortals who deserve an explanation from your Eminence. Sorry that we have made you go through all this. Like I mentioned earlier, some of us have hit a new low. Ricpoche Khyen clearity is hard to come to few as They are shrouded in the romance of some 'agenda', but donot have a good far-sighted vision of the same. It is just like how You mention about the analogy in Buddhism of receiving dharma, using a Pot; "How it illustrates the importance of being open and receptive to teachings. Just as a pot must be clean and empty to hold valuable contents, a mind must be clear and open to receive wisdom and guidance. If the pot is dirty or already full, it cannot accept what is offered. Similarly, if the mind is cluttered with preconceptions or closed to new ideas, it cannot receive the teachings of dharma effectively". May You glorious Light dispel our Ignorance 🙏
But I HONESTLY have no idea about 6th Schedule!! Some say it’s good. Some say it’s bad. I’m confused as many people are. And making a decision when you’re confused is not a wise choice. Secondly I am also HONESTLY not angry at haters/critics. I understand why they are trying to change the topic from the recent happenings during the LBA elections and I have nothing but compassion and love for them also. Compassion & love should ALWAYS be accompanied with the wisdom to understand why and how things are happening. When you have that clarity anger just doesn’t arise. Instead compassion and love does. Even the haters are all Ladakhis (I assume) and I love them all: Buddhists and Muslims both 🙏
Then why you haven't studied it Rinpoche khen? You have always been so vocal about everything in Ladakh so why are you confused at the first place? People only question you and not other Rinpoches because only you are active in everything that happens in Ladakh. You are well educated and knowledgeable about everything so why you didn't feel the importance of studying about something that's for the safety of Ladakhis? And if you don't like the people demanding for this safeguard, you will stay silent? Your personal likings are more important than the cause???

Rinpoche khen, Ladakh Buddhist president is nothing to you. You can serve whole ladakhi, especially Buddhist community even without these kind of post. Lay mans are only ruining the LBA. They are so full of themselves, politically motivated, selfish. They don't even focus on the people and the communities it is working for. The only reason people are supporting Palga Rinboche is because they believes that they would get help when they are in real need from this association for which it is formed for. everyone has failed to reclaim kargil Gonpa , we are loosing the will to hold on our existing worship spaces , Rinpochay lae is on his way to save buddhist culture and Buddhism rights from external influences, and our people are chanting communal harmony only during elections for the political benifits ! everyone have a right to worship, right to conscience , and other side always trying to stop reclaiming our religious sites, what the hell jihadi elements wants to do ?

Although the LBA is a non political wing but somehow directly or indirectly we all are politically involved. If it comes to the welfare of LADAKH we should come forward.
Although i always supported you with respect,just whole ladakh Buddhists is confused that, why you didn't speak or support the 6th schedule and ajang lakrook is saying if you come ,the protest cause will be lost, thats where we get hesitant or say confused on your presidenship, baaki we also don't want those old same faces in LBA rinpochey khen. We don’t like someone to use our LBA as a political instrument for destroying Ladakhi Buddhist and we don’t like to say that 6 schedule is not important for the people who really like to have it. But we like LBA totally separate from Lagrug Tsindor because he is a politician and he didn’t bring any good changes in our LBA until now.

Rinpochay Khen, I believe you are one of the best Buddhist monks working tirelessly to preserve our Buddhist culture, especially in Ladakh. That's why I respect you the most. However, the current situation in Ladakh is very bad. Everyone is protesting for our basic rights. In this situation, the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) can play a big role in favor of Ladakhi demands. As of now, our ex-LBA executive has openly supported the protest. Dragging HE name in this Chaos is not the direct fault or HE. But rather it's HE followers he who have requested him to be the part of this system, which i strongly condemn them. Actually renpochi great response on lba president but some said he not allow according he was tibetan, so that problems he own clear said i m tibetan not only potgyud linage of tibetan during last interview in aha moment which tibetan popular youtube, therefore we also just doubt renpochi ladakh pa or tibetan,actually doesn't matter we tibetan or ladakhi same as loves, compassion and culture etc, but present we going right rules of LBA so that before elect president we should be ladakh pa in LBA rules, so that who accept his renpochi nomination in LBA president?

This is democratic country, you can't put pressure on anyone to support anything. What kind of logic is this that you asking someone that you didn't say anything on 6th schedule? Is there a compulsion? It is wrong if there is a compulsion. We are living in a free country. Why can't ladags pa understand a simple thing?
It is not compulsion but now the matter is interrelated with each other so as a follower people are asking Rinpoche lyy. And asking question is the right of every responsible citizen of India and responsible followers of Buddhist. Buddha said don't follow blindly the teachings of Buddha you should question about it if you had any doubt in his teaching. And there is nothing wrong in countering if people have doubts.

Long Live His Eminence Palga Rinpochey Lay🙏🏽🙏🏽 I whole heartedly apologising on behalf of some ignorant being, who doesnot know how to talk to a Lama Rinpochey. In Buddhism we have been taught to Respect any monk (a person who is wearing monk Robes) but sadly from last 2 days we have been seeing and witnessing some people blindly mocking, disrespecting and using a Foul language against you. Its very disturbing to see the situation in Ladakh.... We are fighting with each other and political parties are taking every opportunity out of it. Wee need to keep the NATION first, then Religion and then political ideologies at last. But we are obsessed with political ideology and this is destroying our closed knit society. 😢

You are fortunate enough with your deeds of pure karma so just excel in that path of dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings.. There's nothing to explore in the mundane life of samsara 🙏🙏

This is really very unfortunate for us budhist community his Eminent. Today LBA is totally misused by some leaders from Leh from some times for their personal issues sometimes when they are out of power they entered in LBA and play dirty politics and sometimes only for misused LBA property for their relatives
The ST which you are using for getting jobs and concessions are all because of LBA interference in politics. LAHDC too. what you think we can achieve all this without interference of LBA in politics. If the cause is for the benefits of our Buddhist brother and sisters and future of Ladakh why LBA should not interfere with politics. And making gompa in the town of kargil where almost every people were Muslim will pee on the gonpa. If there is no proper care taker of the gonpa. I think building gonpa in the town of kargil will be disrespect for the gompa.. I always saw gompas on the top of the mountain on the cleanest area out of chaos and negatives. Where people can pray peacefully
@@tseringmotup2437 the hate for someone saying smthing logical and the sheer attachment for a monastery, so much so abuse someone- is evident enough that you and your leader, palga rinpoche- is no where even close to buddha's teaching you are hate spreader..in the time of need.. you should know, there was no monastery when buddha was spreading his messages. he focused on humanity and logic, peace and debate.. you failed buddha.. because your leader love to see people fight.
There are many old monasteries in Ladakh that need to be restored and developed, and the old monasteries themselves should be used to provide the people with a modern Buddhist education. For this, I think Rinpoche lay you must work with the monasteries if you really want to make progress and strengthen the Buddhism. Otherwise, if you cannot keep the old ones and manage the new ones, and just problem in community and create disagreements with the local people, it will not really help.🙏

1. I have NO opinion about 6th Schedule because I haven’t studied it. We MUST know exactly what we are getting into before asking for something! I remember since my childhood how my father (a Changthang Pa Ladakhi) fought for UT with many leaders but now we are saying it’s not sufficient/appropriate for us??? We MUST all know the pros and cons of a big issue before it gains unanimous support and politicians stay away from such ‘movements’. Once politicians get involved, it becomes a political activity and loses trust among many educated people. There are so many people who don’t even know the pros and cons of what they are asking for or demanding but following blindly, like we did when we fought for UT! I have much more to say about this but I like to keep my opinions about political activities to myself. And besides the people involved are some I don’t trust! I don’t like to follow blindly based on trust. I like to focus solely on the dharma and our Buddhist community.
2. There are many famous & ‘powerful’ people from all spectrums of our Ladakhi societies across religion and region demanding what they believe in. I never said anything against it since it’s our individual right to demand anything. But there are many other Rinpoches and lamas. Why always focus on me? Aren’t there other Rinpoches? I TRULY just want to serve our precious Buddhist society and that’s it. Just because LBA is a powerful platform which keeps getting misused for all other reasons except for the welfare of our Buddhist society and this year I had been asked to work in it some people are so vocal about attempting to drag me into something I HONESTLY haven’t studied about and have no proper knowledge of!! If your need for support for something from a Rinpoche is genuine, please ask other Rinpoches also!
3. This video was made to clarify about the recent unfortunate events leading up to the scrutiny phase of the LBA presidential election. If you want to comment please comment on what I said; not something I have no idea and knowledge about!!
4. I know some keyboard warriors are ready to always criticise me and try to drag me into something I HONESTLY have no proper knowledge about but I don’t blame you all. You either have an agenda against someone or some people, have sworn allegiance to some people, getting something out of it, or just plainly NOT sufficiently educated about it but trying to use my shoulders to shoot a gun at something or someone or some people. I honestly have no anger at you all for all your unrelated and harsh comments and I wanna say I love you all from my heart the same.
5. If anyone wishes to talk to me personally instead of using fake accounts to comment, you all know where I live. There are no shut gates and I live with amaley, my sisters, and a few dogs. Nothing to fear. You are always welcome.

It is not us petty mortals who deserve an explanation from your Eminence. Sorry that we have made you go through all this. Like I mentioned earlier, some of us have hit a new low. Ricpoche Khyen clearity is hard to come to few as They are shrouded in the romance of some 'agenda', but donot have a good far-sighted vision of the same.
It is just like how You mention about the analogy in Buddhism of receiving dharma, using a Pot; "How it illustrates the importance of being open and receptive to teachings. Just as a pot must be clean and empty to hold valuable contents, a mind must be clear and open to receive wisdom and guidance. If the pot is dirty or already full, it cannot accept what is offered. Similarly, if the mind is cluttered with preconceptions or closed to new ideas, it cannot receive the teachings of dharma effectively".

But I HONESTLY have no idea about 6th Schedule!! Some say it’s good. Some say it’s bad. I’m confused as many people are. And making a decision when you’re confused is not a wise choice.
Secondly I am also HONESTLY not angry at haters/critics. I understand why they are trying to change the topic from the recent happenings during the LBA elections and I have nothing but compassion and love for them also. Compassion & love should ALWAYS be accompanied with the wisdom to understand why and how things are happening. When you have that clarity anger just doesn’t arise. Instead compassion and love does. Even the haters are all Ladakhis (I assume) and I love them all: Buddhists and Muslims both 🙏

Rinpochay Khen, I believe you are one of the best Buddhist monks working tirelessly to preserve our Buddhist culture, especially in Ladakh. That's why I respect you the most. However, the current situation in Ladakh is very bad. Everyone is protesting for our basic rights. In this situation, the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) can play a big role in favor of Ladakhi demands. As of now, our ex-LBA executive has openly supported the protest. I just want to know, will you support the Sixth Schedule?
Dragging HE name in this Chaos is not the direct fault or HE. But rather it's HE followers he who have requested him to be the part of this system, which i strongly condemn them. HE was simply living his peaceful life engaging in his daily spritual life and practices. And asking question is the right of every responsible citizen of India and responsible followers of Buddhist. Buddha said don't follow blindly the teachings of Buddha you should question about it if you had any doubt in his teaching.

I whole heartedly apologising on behalf of some ignorant being, who doesnot know how to talk to a Lama Rinpochey. In Buddhism we have been taught to Respect any monk (a person who is wearing monk Robes) but sadly from last 2 days we have been seeing and witnessing some people blindly mocking, disrespecting and using a Foul language against you. It’s a shame for all the Ladakh Buddhist who used to be known as full of compassion, respecting and True devotees as per His Holiness the Dalai Lama, but Today by Disrespecting a holy man (one of our Rinpochey one of our holy Teacher) we all are failed to be called ourselves as Buddhist.

Today LBA is totally misused by some leaders from Leh from some times for their personal issues sometimes when they are out of power they entered in LBA and play dirty politics and sometimes only for misused LBA property for their relatives

The ST which you are using for getting jobs and concessions are all because of LBA interference in politics. LAHDC too. what you think we can achieve all this without interference of LBA in politics. If the cause is for the benefits of our Buddhist brother and sisters and future of Ladakh why LBA should not interfere with politics. And making gompa in the town of kargil where almost every people were Muslim will pee on the gonpa. If there is no proper care taker of the gonpa. I think building gonpa in the town of kargil will be disrespect for the gompa.. I always saw gompas on the top of the mountain on the cleanest area out of chaos and negatives. Where people can pray peacefully

There are many old monasteries in Ladakh that need to be restored and developed, and the old monasteries themselves should be used to provide the people with a modern Buddhist education. For this, I think Rinpoche lay you must work with the monasteries if you really want to make progress and strengthen the Buddhism. Otherwise, if you cannot keep the old ones and manage the new ones, and just problem in community and create disagreements with the local people, it will not really help.🙏
