I remember before the glass doors were fitted. If stuck, having missed the last train home (at that time) you could sleep on one of the "Paper trains", as long as you left at about 06:00, as thats when the trains left to deliver long distance newspapers. At that time also the waiting rooms on Waterloo Southeast, ( over the road), had coal fired heaters in them, great on chilly mornings. Also, are the catacombs like offices still present under Waterloo mainline, as years later, that was where i was sent to get my uniform issue from. I retired from the railways in 2011.
1:38 the gateline for platforms 20-24 is brilliant, besides all the open space etc., simple because of the large, bright signage above every gate indicating which direction it is operating in. This encourages people to move into a sensible position long before they actually reach the gates, so you get less of the jostling and congestion you do everywhere else.
This is really good, especially for those who are unfamiliar with stations or are worried about getting around. Hopefully there'll be more stations covered in the future. Thanks!
I do like London Waterloo station. Still I wish that South Western Railway would introduce the rest of the Class 701 Arterios that some are already in service on the Windsor & Eton Riverside service.
London Waterloo Terminus Is simply Iconic, its a destination In it's self and not just a train Terminus.

Hello commuters, " Always remember the bin man is negative" when you are in the station...
WHAT ?!?! YOU CAN CHARGE YOUR PHONE AT THE SEATING AREA ?!?!
I hate Waterloo, worst of the London termini
Clearly you are very hard to please.
@@LazerBenabba-w9o Clearly has never been to Euston on a Friday afternoon.
