- The Gold Tone CB-100 was the very first banjo I owned and it was a tremendous instrument to grow into. Here's my review of this banjo many years later. This instrument will always have a special place in my heart!

Thanks man! Never seen a banjo that nice in that price range. Will really consider picking it up.
This is a lovely version of Lost Girl! Any chance that you will do a tab and lesson for your Truefire channel members?
Seems like a solid instrument
Great sound and song!
Nice sounding banjo; which strings do you have on it?
Love your version of this song. Do you sell the tab for it?
I don't have tab for this one yet!
@@bradkolodnermusic I'd definitely be interested if you end up transcribing your rendition. Cheers!
Hey guys,
I'm torn between buying this banjo and the CC Carlin 12
I know all the differences between both banjos and judging by this guys videos, i prefer the sound of the CC Carlin
I'm wondering if it'd be worth forking out the extra money for this CB100 knowing that it's a higher quality banjo
I do prefer the sound of the CC Carlin but i would also prefer a higher quality instrument
If anybody has personal use of these banjos let me know what you think.
Thanks
Ryan
The CC-Carlin 12 is a lovely instrument and a great value for the price. I actually don't think the CB-100 is a considerably higher quality banjo - they're just different. If I were you, I'd go with the instrument you like the sound of more (CC-Carlin 12). They have very different tones and feels.
@@bradkolodnermusic great to know they're of similar quality. That has really helped my dissonance on the matter, appreciate your advice my man 👍 also, awesome playing, LOVE the channel
