My dad was huge fan of this wonderful and talented group- he saw them play plenty times at The Ranch House in Aina Haina. He was haole- ex-miltary, shorts; slippers,- Long's kine guy- and "go Forty-Niners!" and just crazy about Uncle Joe & Da Nuuanu Brothers. He liked ox-tail soup at Kam Bowl and watching sunrise at Sandy Beach. Aloha to you both; and our ohana.
Chookie is my papa. I'm so proud of him and what he is doing. I haven't talked to him or my grandma since new years. I can assure you that they are doing good. I miss them so much though. Love you papa!! -3

My dad just passed away and this was his favorite song we had it played at his services. I know he heard it.

This reminds me of when my husband would play his ukulele and sing to me and the kids😇😜
It hurts listening to the songs that used to make me smile, now makes me cry. I dislike this feeling. Uncle Joe was such a huge impact on my life:(
Cyani Nauka I miss uncle Joe, I loved having them play for our family parties (Alfapada’s), I only see uncle Abe around now.
MY CONDOLENCES TO PATTI AND THE FAMILY!
