I love the color for spawn they chose here over the black. It makes him look a little more cool.
Definitely a cool looking figure.
Shows that McFarlane Toys can produce good looking figures when they want to. Miss the old McFarlane accessories back when they didn’t look like something you would get from the dollar store.
Seeing this figure with those guns really puts it into perspective on how cheap looking they are. At least they kind of tried with the accessory packs, but these might just be the worst looking action figure weapons I have seen outside of knock offs.
I thought this was worse than most of their current offerings…
At least middle of the pack
I’m mostly talking about the paint applications when I say the figure looks decent. McFarlane paint applications have mostly been lackluster lately to say the least.
They barely painted one of the eyes on mine…
I completely agree this could have been a deluxe figure I think he charges the extra 10 bucks cuz he was like I'll just add three little weird little minion figures with it and we'll make it 50.

I think his meaning is why would a godlike entity be in need of physical weaponry? He's got a point. But the armaments would definitely come in handy for other figures!

Great pick-up. But where's the civilian version of & AL Simmons, Wanda, and there child Cheyenne as a figure ? It's just odd to me that McFarlane makes all these variations of Spawn but we have not gotten no AL Simmons & his love ones figures at all this is really sad.
I’d love that, but civilians figures are “boring” and don’t sell good. They are exactly what I want though!
Well I don't about boring because even yourself have civilian figures Bruce Wayne etc, Alfred etc boring or not they are apart of the legacy of many heroic characters we love.

That maybe true one level but you still have to try different things because you never know it could be a major hit to hardcore fans . The surrounding characters are just as important as the main character. Besides every super hero doesn't wear iconic outfit or heroic uniform the entire day & night for weeks eventually they need there alter egos to balance them out emotionally & physically to heal.

That is a huge part of the appeal. I don’t follow Spawn lore, but I buy them all.

The weapons are pretty much Weapons munitions pack 1 and some of 2. The demons are really awesome though. The Spawn is ok and all but he can really do without the weapons lol. Maybe like a pitchfork or sword or something if anything. Mcfarlane needs to come out with a Swords weapons munitions pack. Lol! The chains though... it would be nice to get some real metal ones back again. Maybe in the Gold Label version hopefully.

Lol, It''s necessary if it's cool (enough), the only unnecessaty is the blown up price of 50 bucks! Aren't you aware your "unnecessary"-running gag doesn't work every single time, because you are a completionist? Logically is every figure necessary for you because with a missing figure you aren't a completionist anymore! May think about to not hit your unintentional funny and depressing "unnecessary"-running gag in the future (don't resent McFarlane that he forces you to buy his (mostly) cool figures because he don't, you do) and to upload your videos in 1080p (the YT upscaling of your 720p footage is unnecessarily (wink, wink) blurry and fine details are missing! Keep up your good work, necessary "comparison king" dHunter...
I think if anything is unnecessary about the figure it would be that it's overpriced. the price tag is the only reason I wouldn't get it and that makes me sad.
