Die beste Wahl für eine Hymne. Wie seltsam , Als Beethoven es komponiert hat, wusste er nicht das aus seinem Meisterwerk eine Hymne der vielen Nationen in Europa wird
Die Beste Wahl war sie auch, da die Hymne aus Deutschland stammt, dem Ort, von welchem aus zuletzt Terror und unsägliches Leid im gesamten Kontinent verbreitet wurde.
Somit ist die Europahymne auch eine Hymne der Erlösung, Versöhnung und Brüderlichkeit.
Hätte er gewusst, dass es eine EU geben wird, die ihre Macht missbraucht und diktatorisch handelt, hätte Beethoven wohl nie seine Hymne dafür freigegeben

Das sehe ich auch so. Allerdings brauchen wir dafür keine korrupte EU. Die EU besitzt zudem gar keine Staatlichkeit, wie kann sie sich dann anmaßen, so ein wundervolles Lied für seine Zwecke zu miss brauchen.

Wir "alle" haben mehr Möglichkeiten als "damals als die Länder sich noch mit Krieg überzogen haben" es ist nicht alles perfekt in Europa, doch wir leben in "Frieden, in Wohlstand und mit Respekt" vor hundert Jahren sah es noch anders aus, ich möchte lieber dieses Europa als das vor hundert Jahren.
Miriam Rechner Ihr Wissen scheint aus der Zeit von vor 20 Jahren zu stammen. Seit zwanzig Jahren nämlich werden dem EU Parlament immer mehr Rechte zugestanden werden. Der EU Rat hat zwar immer noch mehr Macht aber auch der besteht aus den gewählten Staatsoberhäuptern der einzelnen Mitgliedsstaaten.
Mein Wunsch ist, in meiner Lebenszeit, die Vereinigten Staaten von Europa zu erleben.

This song and the thought of a united europe are the one thing that bring tears to my eyes. We should not take for granted that we have lived in peace in europe for such a long time. Yes there are issues now because of corona, but for me the most important thing is that we still try to combat this virus as a union somehow. There are some who would like to tear us apart, but those people will never again rise to a level of power that will allow that. For that to happen the EU and that means all of us, has just grown too strong.
Well, seems like one guy is really trying to rip us apart, but i dont think he will prevail.

Das wäre schön wenn es so wäre aber ich denke das uns eher dunkle Zeiten bevorstehen in der Europapolitik und ganz allgemein in der EU,besonders wenn Madam La Pen nächstes Jahr im April in Frankreich die Wahl zur französischen Staatspräsidenten gewinnen sollte.Sie hat ja im Vorfeld bereits angekündigt das sie die beschworene deutsch-französische Freundschaft im Falle eines Wahlsiegs beenden möchte und einen Austritt Frankreichs aus der Europäischen Union vorantreiben möchte,was aber unter Rechtspopulistischen Bewegungen in Europa naturgemäß das politische Ziel bzw. Forderung Nummer 1 ist.Mal sehen wie diese Wahl letztendlich ausgehen wird!
