@@CanadianCruisin Thanks bud, I think I will just order one as well. On a side note are you in the 4wd association of BC? I joined and will be heading to the toy run tomorrow 24th at Stave mud flats, will be my first trip out with the group. Going to order the nismo 1.5inch lift and the RCI skid plate kit and that should be enough for me, maybe some extra lights.
@CanadianCruisin oh okay got it... Yeah I was just curious... I have used the K&N and they're good I'm going to try out the Z1 to see if there's a difference
@thagemizer i found it weird that it doesn't show up as a vehicle options at a lot of places. I get its a new truck but they've been out for a few years now.
New air filter. How come you didnt just go with a whole new intake? Those ripples in the stock air intake actually cause little air vortex which rob air flow from the engine
@stevenpeterson7234 i didn't want to spend big money on it right now and this way I can do a comparison between the two when I finally upgrade to the entire intake
I really enjoy your videos; I have planned some mods to my frontier based on your videos. Thanks for sharing
@@duki680 thanks for watching
Was wondering about that filter as well. Let us know if you notice any difference. I may order one as well.
@@sumdude2247 ill do an update eventually

@sumdude2247 I follow them on Facebook. I haven't joined yet though
Is there a reason why you went with k&n and not the z1 variant??!
@@draconus003 i can get this in canada a lot quicker and easier than from z1

Those bands in the air filter are called pleats.
I didn't know they had a K&N filter for the Frontier. Based upon your review, I might get one also.

@CanadianCruisin
That is true. I completely understand. I really do like your truck tho man!! Im gonna start build my Titan here soon!!
Are you also swapping out the in cabin filter and if so, can you do a video on that?
@marccastro1877 when i swap it out I will definitely make a video on it.
Most "Cold Air Intakes" are just open and suck in warm air. Unless the unitl is sealed off. Drop ins are possibly better
@@Blue-moon12 ill see how this works. So far so good
