Hi, How do you remove the aluminium bar from the swing mechanism please? I have exactly the same type of blind as you. I have tried several ways without success. It feels like the two parts are stuck together. What I'm trying to do is to put the cord back in place that came out. Thank you!
Possibly a dumb question but let say I add to one side like you did in the video and then the problem switches to the other side, do I just add tape to the other side and then keep adding tape to both sides until the problem is sorted?
I'm having the most confusing problem where when the roller shades are up, the left side is higher, when the roller shades are down, the right side is higher.. I'm not sure what the fix would be then or what the problem is. The company just told me to put tape but when the blind is fully up or fully down I'll have an uneven issue either way! It's ceiling mounted and 8' long roller shades
In this instance one of the blinds May have more fabric on it than the other . The way to fix this is roll the blinds down so the tube is exposed Run masking tape along the tube from one side to the other and ll the blind back up . You may have to experiment with it and do one blind or the other to see if it improves . Also these sound like a linked blind so before you start adjust the blinds so they are level at the top .
Neat trick, took 2 mins. to get the correct number of tape strips, the annoying cock-eyed blind is no more. (It works by simply increasing very slightly the circumference of the aluminium roller at one end, but who ACTUALLY first applied the physics to a roller blind??)
finally someone who actually shows the entire proces
Thank you for this. First video I clicked on, and I only required one piece of tape to fix my wonky roller blinds!

Sometimes instead of putting the tape right at the end of the tube you move it closer to the centre , this can help with the problem you are having
