In fact hearing her live I think her producers did her an injustice on the record - Too much filter and compression, her natural voice is way more full-bodied and sensual than the album production leads you to believe. Shame she only had this one (admittedly awesome) hit.
Billie had such a unique beautiful sultry voice and totally needed to be heard more than she received her voice and her music is timeless 🥰 I was living in Washington at the time and am now miles away back at home
