    I’m from the UK, and my ancestor is buried in Fishkill . He was in the revolution war against the Americans, and unfortunately lost his life on the battlefield. He is now buried in Fishkill. It’s fascinating how far you can trace your family tree back

      I think you mean Fishkill. Do you know where his grave is? They say many graves from the Rev. War are unmarked.

      Here are some Revolutionary War soldiers who are buried in Fishkill, New York:
      Pvt. William Benson: Died at Fishkill hospital on October 10, 1778, and was a member of the 2nd NY Regiment
      Pvt. John Bryan: Died in Fishkill in 1778, and was a member of the 2nd Maryland Regiment
      Pvt. Samuel Chatfield: Died at Fishkill hospital on October 24, 1778, and was a member of the 1st NY Regiment
      Lt. David Fellows: Died in service at Fishkill on December 10, 1779, and was a member of Col Hazen's Regiment
      Fenton: Died from a wound on March 29, 1780, and was a member of Edward Wigglesworth's Regiment, Willington's Company, of the 13th Massachusetts
      Captain Beal: Was killed at Fishkill on November 7, 1777, during an attempted mutiny
      According to historical records and archeological studies, there are likely hundreds of unmarked graves of Revolutionary War soldiers in an undisturbed part of the original Fishkill Supply Depot.

    I miss those mountains, the rain, and beautiful summer trees! Worked at IBM East Fishkill several temp and intern jobs with EHS during the 80s. I wanted to get hired there and move permanently to La grange or such but it started closing right when i graduated college and I moved on..

    Pretty Pretty place,except for the winter for some of us born into and love hot climates..
