- What if you had access to a health checkup that included whole genome sequencing, whole body MRI, a CAT scan of your coronary arteries, as well as microbiome and metabolomics information that was reviewed by a team of geneticists, bioinformaticians, radiologists and internists dedicated to the early detection of health issues with the goal of extending the healthy human lifespan? That's exactly what Pamila Brar and her team are doing at Health Nucleus by implementing an approach to preventative health that takes knowing more, and knowing it sooner, to a whole new level. Pamila Brar, MD is Chief Medical Officer, Health Nucleus, Human Longevity. Her approach is to deliver up-to-date, evidence-based information for quick access by patients. She was named the Ellen Browning Scripps Chief Medical Resident in 1998, and is a graduate of the Scripps Clinic Internal Medicine Residency Program. She holds an MD degree from Louisiana State University at New Orleans, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
