The concept of a killer creating a hack to relive the events of their murder is a wonderful idea for a story. It gives the reader so, so much to interpret and uses video games as a medium to its fullest potential in a story. It's much like Petscop in a way, though that was different still.
The concept was cool, i also remember one where it was the game breaking the fourth wall and talking directly with the player However instead the game is not trying to do evil things to the player, indeed the game wanted to still be by the side of the player instead Obviously not that alot original but it's a cool concept

Disagree, I can get where she’s coming from there because her friend had grown up in a household where he never got to experience anything like video games and playing Sonic 3 after seeing it once was his dream come true, just look at how excited he was. Couple that with the fact that because he was going to collage in another country so it was going to be the last time they saw each other in person for years, knowing the cartridge was hacked might ruin the special experience for her friend, who would wanna let him down on a day like that? And by the time it became too much, the friend realized it was a hacked cartridge anyway. But other than that, the MC comes off as a bit neurotic, you’ve gotta be pretty faint at heart to want to puke at some green and yellow flames and some 16 bit sprites, and getting that mad at it being hacked, she has the right to be a bit peeved because she spent money on that, but she did say she didn’t want to play the same game over again, you’d think a new experience would make her happy. I get her flipping out at the end though, if I got a message like that I’d do the exact same as her except replace a kitchen knife with a 12 gauge.
It’s stupid that MC didn’t tell their friend it wasn’t the original when they realized it, if this game suddenly flashed gore or porn the friend would be very confused. Just because the friend hadn’t played before doesn’t mean you should keep it a secret.
So basically TL:DW A person who murdered Sally Anderson created a hacked Sonic 3 cartridge, as a sort of fucked up way of tributing to the murder they committed. "In the walls, under the floor" likely refers to the person chopping up Sally and putting the limbs under the floor and in the walls, to sort of hide the murder. They accidentally sent the hacked copy to a pawn store, and our Main Character got the hack. Then, the Main Character posts the findings in the hack to the forum, and the murderer finds the posts and gets in contact with the Main Character. Eventually the murderer puts 2 and 2 together and gets extremely paranoid at the Main Character being able to get them in jail, so they threaten the Main Character to get them to back off. That's basically the end.
You got some details off. It’s implied that Sally Anderson either A. Was in a relationship with the killer (who is Sonic) and left him for the friend who was Knuckles or B. Was never interested in him in the first place and rejected him, going with the friend who was knuckles. This could possibly be because “Sonic” did something that made his friends and possibly girlfriend despise him, judging by the fact that they acted very cold to him. “Sonic” does not take the shunning of his friends and his love interest who he is very clearly obsessive over lightly, he tries to attack them but the knuckles friend stops him. The tails friend judging by the nod from knuckles in the first cutscene seems to stick around “sonic” after the terrible thing he did presumably to keep an eye on him for his other friends to make sure he doesn’t try anything else. Later, “Sonic” comes back and kills the knuckles friend before running after sally, tails friend tries to stop him but he is knocked away, presumably not killed yet. “Sonic” catches up to Sally and kills her, burying her in the walls and floor as described. The tails friend who bore witness to this in protest of his “friend’s” acts takes the Sonic 3 cartridge ROM they were working on and runs away, finishing it and altering it to include the crimes “Sonic” committed before selling it in hopes someone will find it and show the police. Why the tails friend didn’t himself could be for any number of reasons, including 1.”Sonic” threatened him that he would be next if he tried to tell, 2. He did tell but “Sonic” got away with it due to lack of evidence, 3. “Sonic” later killed him before he could tell. the killer who frequents Sonic communities because he is a modder sees the MC’s comment and realizes she has his games, but altered by his friend to include his crimes. The killer panics at this and tries desperately to get the cartridge back from the MC, and presumably kill her so there would be no witnesses. When she asks him about Sally, he knows he has to act fast and invites her to a chat room, most likely because it’s ridiculously easy to get someone’s personal info like their address off a chat room, just look at Omegle videos. After getting her info, he stalks her for a week planning her murder, but not before sending an email to her, goading her and telling her he knows everything about her, and soon she’ll join Sally and be “his”. Not a smart move considering he was trying to cover up his crimes, but he’s a serial killer and they tend to do things like that. Luckily for the MC, she sees the email before he can strike and calls the police where the story ends. This will have a good ending as long as the police get there before he does, they can trace who he is through e-mail and his accounts like on to catch a predator, where he will go to jail for his murders and attempted murder, probably getting life in prison.
Actually really horrifying and the anxiety it gave me was pretty scary. Protagonist was kinda unlikable until towards the end tbh. Most Sonic pastas are mid as hell but this one was pretty solid. 8/10.

I can't believe I used to remember this as a good creepypasta. Only the strong finish saves it from being a straight shitpasta and even with that it's still a bad creepypasta. The way the author talks like no normal person so you know it was written by a social outcast teenage writer, the writer's supposed to be a huge sonic nerd yet forgets Sally was in two of the cartoons -- not just the comics -- and said they interlocked the wrong Sonic games, the feeling connected to the characters and bizarre intuitions, and they had several basic english errors as well. It definitely wears it's age, but I do almost miss the bad creepypasta readings with the game play and music. Nobody does it like this anymore.
In the age of old Sonic Pastas being re-imagiend in game form, as well as a rise in critical acclaim to Sonic horror games, I'm surprised that no one has attempted to adapt this story into an actual game.
I always enjoyed this one. However, one thing that I don’t like is the way that the protagonist refuses to tell her friend about the game and how it shouldn’t be anything like it is here. It may have just saved her getting stalked by that freak at the end of the story who made the hack.

I think I get what the story was in this creepypasta, the maker of those sonic hacks was I guess someone who ether dated or was just obsessed the girl named Sally Anderson. I think those also shows and explains her death too, the sonic in those hacks represents the maker of the hacks, the blonde Sally Acorn clearly represents Sally Anderson and Tails and Knuckles represents I think the Creator's friends or Sally's new lover and her friend that was trying to pertect her from Sonic aka the stalker\ Creator. Also what the hack said and show how multiple Sallys in the walls and floors must symbolizes after she was killed she cut up and stuff in the walls and floors of maybe the stalker's house, cause remember that they said that Sally Anderson is their's much like how the main character will be their's when they get her, if they hadn't already made her join Sally Anderson in permanent sleep in the walls and floors.

I think I get what the story was in this creepypasta, the maker of those sonic hacks was I guess someone who ether dated or was just obsessed the girl named Sally Anderson. I think those also shows and explains her death too, the sonic in those hacks represents the maker of the hacks, the blonde Sally Acorn clearly represents Sally Anderson and Tails and Knuckles represents I think the Creator's friends or Sally's new lover and her friend that was trying to pertect her from Sonic aka the stalker\ Creator. Also what the hack said and show how multiple Sallys in the walls and floors must symbolizes after she was killed she cut up and stuff in the walls and floors of maybe the stalker's house, cause remember that they said that Sally Anderson is their's much like how the main character will be their's when they get her, if they hadn't already made her join Sally Anderson in permanent sleep in the walls and floors.
I know this was a few months ago, but what about the other Sonic characters that appeared later on in the story (such as Amy, Cream, the Chaotix, etc.)? What would they represent?
@@oranjaglad8648 you do have a point, and I'm not sure who they represent. Maybe Sally Anderson's other friends and also her family? I think that must be it, cause they where around Sally's grave to mourn her. So they must have been, like maybe Amy and Cream was supposed to represent her best friends or maybe even her sisters? I don't really know myself.

So maybe they could represent the police or detectives that tried to find Sally Anderson, but couldn't cause remember the stalker chopped her up and stuffed in the floors and walls of their home( like I put in my original comment).
