I have 4 AG dolls and a Wellie Wisher doll! My first doll is my lookalike (JYL16) and her name is Holly. I got her on my 11th birthday. I got BeForever Samantha on my 20th Birthday and the resemblance to Holly is uncanny lmao. With my own money, I got Ashlyn and BeForever Josefina in 2018 and 2019 respectively. And a few months ago my mom surprised me with a 00's Felicity! I want to rename Ashlyn though but idk what to name her yet despite having her this long. She's supposed to be Holly's little sister too! Also I have a huge doll wish list lmao

I have one AG doll, Rebecca that I got two weeks ago for $20. I’m 14 and never liked dolls until recently, I want to collect dolls but my family thinks it’s a waste of money.
My mom has always been really strict about me keeping my dolls good. She always said that if I didn't take good care of them then she would take them away, so I always made sure to take good care of them!
Very impressive AG doll collection. Fennie would also be a neat name for a Felicity doll as their eyes are the color of a forest peat bog, known as a fen. 😊

Many people just like AG but I know plenty of people who collect any dolls they like! Personally I don’t have the money or space for other than one brand haha😂 but yes very common
I used to collect porcelain and American girl dolls, but got rid of the porcelains when I declutter, and my AG dolls have been passed on as heirlooms (I thought I had a lot because I had 4😂...I had the original 4..Felicity, Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly)..I still have my childhood shelf dolls that my Dad got me from overseas.
Many doll collectors collect different types of dolls. It's just up to you. I personally collect AG dolls and reborns, but I know of people who collect AG and MH, AG and Barbie, etc. There are also plenty of collectors who stick to just one type of dolls. Idk if I could say either one is more common than the other, but there certainly are people who collect one type of dolls, and those who collect multiple.
I have 21 dolls but we found most of them at goodwill and garage sales. This is my dream collection. I started collecting in 2013 and I got Caroline (bad choice). But love y'all.

I started my collection with Felicity, then Julie, Logan I bought new from a sweet lady in Dubai, then I got Caroline, Lea, Isabelle, the number 49 doll and named her Annabelle Lee, and then Tenney who has gone missing during shipping, and hope they find her! Sorry I couldn't get your question into my Q&A video! I prefer the feathered eyebrows because I think that they look more realistic. However, I wouldn't want to change the old AG dolls with lined eyebrows because I think that they wouldn't be the same then. My favorite feathered eyebrows are the one like Lea's!
I got my first two dolls in 1989. Kirsten and felicity. They are actually the first historical dolls that Rowland Pleasant made with ov course Samantha and Molly. The very old samantha with the white body my childhood best friend has. My Felicity is German made. She has her little pleasant company, made in German tag. I just now today got Isabelle. So I am so excited to get her. I will be starting to collect AG dolls. I think they are the best made dolls. I love them.

Similar meaning - Bliss or Blythe or Joy. Felicity also reminds me of the character in The Story Girl by L.M. Montgomery - Felicity has a sister named Cecily. I think they go together nicely. I have 8 AG dolls - Maryellen, Elizabeth, Lea, Grace, #58, #31, #24, and #17. Maryellen is the only one that was full price, and she was an anniversary gift from my husband.

I play with them sometimes, but for the most part me playing with them involves making videos such as stop motions. ☺️ I love the name Pepper!

I have 5 dolls technically. One of them is an old Bitty Baby, which I got when I was 4 from Santa. My next doll's name is Abby, which number 23 I believe, and I got her when i was maybe 6 or 7. Then, I got another truly me doll, which isn't sold anymore so I'm not sure what number she is, but her name is Sarah. Then, I got a Kaya doll and a Maryellen doll. 😁
My favorite American girl dolls are Samantha, Kit, Molly , Emily and Lea
