you guys most definitely need to watch koi mil gaya and then the rest of the series if you want to. That was the film for most Indians when we realized how great of an actor Hrithik was and not just a good looking/great dancing star.

I have sent you guys on Instagram the interview link of Hrithik Roshan and Anupama chopra, which happened after his movie war. In which he explained throughly about the scene 'Aunty hoo hoo' from the movie main prem ki deewani hoon..he told the interviewer that It was directors requirement to play that character in certain way and he said he tried really hard but failed miserably . So they were all laughing together. I thoroughly enjoyed that interview session. you guys should check that out, too. 😊❤️

Drishyam 2 remake did very well. So will Bhola. Vikram Vedha’s overall box office was among the highest in Hindi films of 2022. Perhaps the South version dubbed in Hindi wouldn’t do good business as well. PS1 and Vikram didn’t do well in Hindi.
I don't support remakes in Bollywood cause they have potential to tell more great stories I mean before boycott people started calling hindi film industry as remake industry that they have no originality and as a hindi speaker it's insulting for me to hear something like that for hindi cinema which I love so even if it's amir I am not gonna watch it believe it or not still I haven't watched lal singh chadda on Netflix yet even after so many months 😑

Hrithik is also an actor and not just a star. But an observation about this and interviews in general, why do actors try to intellectualize so much. Generally, most of the Indian actors of new generation intellectualize too much to the point it looks very stretched conversation.

Boycott remake was not the reason vikram vedha flopped, if that was the case then drishyam 2 also would have flopped . But drishyam 2 is ATB. Vikram vedha flopped because the story didnt connect to the masses and there was zero buzz for Vikram vedha when release date came close. I think that if location of story would have been Mumbai or Delhi the movie would have been atleast a hit.

Most movie lovers in hindi belt had already seen hindi dubbed version of tamil vikram veda. But Drishyam which is heavily dialogue oriented did not have a hindi dubbed version of both 1 and 2. Also people who had seen Drishyam 1 which was a huge hit was curious to see Drishyam 2. That is why it was a hit. There is no Scope for remakes of Action and thriller movies which already have dubbed versions.

Like ,in fucking movies theres dance video out of nowhere and then film continue and then dance video out of nowhere... I hate songs in middle of movie, Now pathan is coming.. I really really like srk but , again this YRF universe or whatever it is... It just trash looking to me... Yeah sure i will watch it if it have heart.. Like in RRR its story focused over top movie... It connects with u... Where movies like WAR just did not connected , thus action scenes, dancing, songs, didnt feel good to me.... Whatever... Aamir Khan is an INFJ ... personality... they tend to take their cues from themselves and do only what they want. Hrithik is the same personality as AK but he lacks confidence which prevents him from listening only to himself. But Hritik does have great resilience, look at all that he's come through: mafia shooting his father, his own surgeries, his divorce etc.
Love you guys, but I had to laugh at your "bootlicking" reactions here:) I started watching Indian films because I saw Hrithik in Jodhaa Akbar about 13 years ago and I was introduced to Hindi films initially by watching his films and to date I have seen everything he's ever been in (except for Vikram Vedha). Truly he will always be one of my favorite actors in Bollywood. BUT I find it painful to watch Hrithik in interviews, because he is so vapid and inarticulate though sweet-natured and sincere (for the most part-dude is very vain and it shows and he can be falsely modest at times). Hrithik has always gone over the top in his performances and for the most part his films have survived the onslaught because of his charisma. Guzaarish is a great film overall but his performance had so many false moments in it where his expressions and dialogue delivery are contrived and overwrought. It's Aishwarya's performance, the story, and the music that saved that film...not Hrithik's performance. I thought it was very telling that he thought he was too stiff in Jodhaa Akbar when that was definitely one of his best performances. There is very little self-awareness there. And I've never thought his acting "instincts" nor his choice of projects overall has served him well. His father (a not very talented director) has steered his career in so many unfortunate ways. Agneepath is really the only film left of his that you haven't seen that is worth watching for his performance. I swear that I am a die-hard Hrithik fan! I'm just much more pragmatic and realistic about his capabilities.
