@@vivianbigham3424she used the no wipe topcoat both times. Definitely agree with the other ladies. I cure my topcoat for 30 seconds, then rub in chrome. Once it's good to go, top coat and cure.
Yes Cea you cure the "no wipe top coat" then rub the chrome in till you get the desired mirror effect, then you go over the parts you want to keep with the "no wipe top coat" and wipe away the excess powder with alcohol or swipe preferably with a lint free wipe. If it's the above nail you're going for then just copy what she's doing but cure in-between. I hope this helps and answers any questions you may have. Good luck and blessings. 🙏 🏴 ✌️
@Marisa Janine Yes the nail would have been prepped with a file to get rid of the shine on the nail: 1. dehydrate using dehydrater or alcohol or acetone, whichever you have or prefer to get rid of any natural oils. 2. Use "Non acid primer" or normal "primer" if you want your nails not to lift and last 4 + weeks. 3. Basecoat: 2 thin coats (whatever your preference, I find 2 thin coats curing after each coat are better than 1 thick coat) 4. If you're not using hard gels, acrylic or nail extension gel then just put your colour on × how many layers you like, curing after each layer, depending on how opaque you prefer them. When on the last layer of coloured gel wipe off the tacky layer well with alcohol or swipe after) There's no need to wipe the tacky layer after each coat of colour, just the last one as the tacky layer binds them. 5.Then use the no wipe topcoat and cure, rub the chrome in really well (especially if you want the shiny chrome mirror effect look. ) Then go over the chrome parts YOU WANT TO KEEP with "no wipe top coat" , cure and wipe away the excess chrome with alcohol wipe or swipe. I hope this helps, Good luck! 🤞 🍀 And Blessings. . 🙏 🏴 ✌️
After. After you put the no wipe topcoat where you want the chrome to be, cure for 30 seconds. Then rub the chrome powder in. After you do that, use a brush (like those blush brushes even) to wipe off loose flying particles. Take your no wipe topcoat again, and go over the area of chrome you want to keep and do a full 60 second cure. Once it comes out, then wipe it with the alcohol. That way it won't remove your design, it'll just remove what you didn't want to keep. ❤
A silicon stamper (you get all types but you're better off with a "Clear silicone jelly nail stamper" You'll find them on Amazon for a few quid or dollars for next day delivery depending where you're from. Obviously "Wish" says they "sell everything cheaper" but once you add on the delivery charges for each tiny item even if it's many items from same seller (usually a China address) iit ends up usually taking ages (months) to arrive and costing heaps on delivery, much more than the item itself. Good luck 🤞 🍀
@@jameycampbell4096 I’ve bought a few and a really good chrome powder is from Amazon with a brand named Saviland. The beetles brand is okay but it looks more glittery than chrome even when using a no wipe top coat with black gel polish underneath
It's not really sticking to it necessarily. It's more like it's getting rubbed into it. If you pat the chrome lightly on the topcoat, it'll stick because you're only supposed to cure the topcoat for 30 seconds before applying the chrome and it looks like loose glitter almost. But if you use an applicator of some kind and rub it into it, it makes it look nice and smooth and will be blended into it.

A black base will make the gold chrome pop better❤❤❤
Before doing the chrome cure in UV light for about 20 seconds, so the chrome will stick better
❤ I was about to say that too! She did not show the CURING STEPS! And what kind of gel she put on that tool?

Living for it! Brilliant technique and i love that shape of french - hard to do freehand.
You could use foils and a lot of other things using this technique. TY:)
I can never seem to get a deep smile line like this ☝️ with the stamper
it’s the angle you hold your finger at! try placing your finger the way they are in the video
Nicely done 🤗💕💅💕
Where do i find this beautiful rose gold chrome powder? 😍
i got it off temu but i think its on amazon as well :)

@@EveHyland-in8jb9ti9y thank u for explaining
That's my question too
Where do I find the chrome color?
@christinavaidich9278 "Amazon" has every color chrome for cheap ! I got aprox 20 different colors!
Pretty smart😊
Can this be done on your real nails? I loved your tutorial as well. ❤
You can do any kind of designs on your real nails, that's what I've been doing for 8 years now ✨
Nice❤
Thank you for sharing the tutorial ❤️
How are not piercing ur stamper?
After application of base coat do you dry it or leave it wet
You have to cure every layer of gel. If you don't cure them, it leaves the potential for an allergic reaction at a much greater level.
Beautiful
Divina 😊😊🙏🙏
Super smart!
What was that you brushed on plastic?
So before you put the Chrome on is the nail already complete? Meaning is there the base coat the color and the top coat on already?
Whatever design you're doing then no wipe topcoat then put chrome powder on, topcoat over where you want to keep the chrome. Wipe away excess powder.

Gorgeous 😘👌
i tried this and punctured the jelly, couldn't get it deep enough without it

What kind of gel you put on the silicone?
Use eyeshadow as chrome save money n time UK 🇬🇧 m
Wouldn't you need to cure the top coat for 30 sec to its just tacky & not wet before adding on the chrome powder??
Where did you get this chrome powder ?
But when the chrome first went on the line was a mess. Then at the end it was perfect.
What is that clear stuff you’re dipping your finger into and where do I get it?
It's a stamper. Anywhere. Walmart, Amazon, etc.
Clear Silicon jelly stamper.
do you have a link to where you got the chrome powder?
I would love the link as well... I love this color of gold and have looked everywhere for it...

If it's a no wipe top coat how does the chrome powder stick to it?
Usually chrome only stick on non wipe top coat. But I also see other people use rhinestone gel too and they stick on it. I haven't try it out yet
With the non wipe top coat the chrome look more smooth. Specially the mirror chrome
so u cure it and then add the chrome ?
