Thank you so much for this video without it I’m doubtful if I would have gotten my sled done before my trip. Didn’t need any extra tools apart from the helix compressor. I ended up welding a normal t40 bit to a broken spammer to get the bolts out the back and then I found some 10.9 hex m8 which happened to be the exact correct length at home
Could you please send me info on the wrench and t40 bit? My wife’s sled had the rollers self destruct. My buddy has the puller, but not the extended length ratchet and t40 bit. I have a trip planned next week and need to do this myself. Thanks so much!
What brand T40 insert bit did you use? I’m doing the same thing, I have a 1/4” ratchet wrench with a T40 bit in it. It doesn’t feel Like it will be enough.

Good video, I just did these and removed the jackshaft, I replaced with hex bolts also and will do it your way next time.

@@crissmane google “QRS ratchet wrench”. I got mine from Grip N Rip racing but there are several other companies that sell them as well.

The bit came from grip n rip racing. I was unable to find it anywhere else
@@SledsandGear I ended up finding it, I believe it’s Gearwrench. Thanks
@WildBill1984 the Amazon doesn't have the sizes on there. I presume you bought them and they have the required T40?
@@gmac9956 yeah part# 81560
Not that bad great explanation 👍🏻
One question? Couldn't you just use the collar and belt removal tool to take the tension off the helix to remove the bolts?
@@Mcswack you might get away with that for disassembly but I don’t think it would work for reassembly
You could have removed the felt panel for mor room and visibility
Yeah that might have helped a bit.
