Oravita to Anina Romania, August 1995

A trip on the 23rd August 1995 with a mixed train hauled by 0-10-0 No 50.065 ( a Austrian Class 80).

Thanks for sharing. Nowdays there is a single passenger train, diesel hauled and no more freight trains. The steam locomotive is preserved and rusts in Oravita station with boiler damage. Rumors are circulating that from december, the passenger train will operate only friday, saturday and sunday.

În 1980 am circulat de la Oravița la Anina dar , n-am văzut nicio aburoasă . Cred că , din cauza ploii , n-am ajuns la Miliția Oravița . Lucram la Uzina de Camioane Brașov și știam din Ziarul Lupta CFR , de linia aceasta , și de linia cu cremalieră Bouțari - Sarmiseghetusa ( Zpicani )
