Yeah demolitionist would have been AMAZING but sometimes I don’t think when making video I thought double bomber was enough 💀 thank you again for the recommendations I have another grenade build soon I’ll make sure to have the perk on!
I’ve been stuck once while flying at max speed with Stompees. It was quite impressive and I have to give props to the person who did it. I loved these nades before they were changed and I’m excited to try this change more.
Same, but powerful and very hard to use (because of the no magnetism on these new ones) is a new look for Fluxes Personally I feel like people underrated the pre-nerf ones and that they were stronger due to being more flexible, despite not one-shotting and requiring a primer shot or cleanup shot
"My movement has been pretty sloppy this game" Me: *Wondering how the heck he's moving so fast, constantly knowing where everyone is by radar, and somehow not dying*
If you can stand running without Stompies, try this build with Frosties. You get increased grenade regen while sprinting and increased sprint speed. I'm near certain the improved grenade regen still happens even with 100 disc.
With fastball they basically become hitscan grenades it's hilarious. Still think they're going to be balanced because they have so little tracking and take so long to explode. If you don't stick someone it won't help you in your fight unlike the rest of the stickeys. I recommend trying out magnetic grenades and overcharged axion bolts next. Overcharged axion bolts can find 4 targets in an 18 meter radius and last more than 10 seconds. Magnetic grenades are almost guaranteed sticks compared to the other 2 sticky genades.
I’ve noticed you throw them farther and faster but just have less magnetism. I think overall it’s a good change and makes it better because if you get lucky in trials it’s basically free wins if you can land it.
@@TerraTheWise Ik but I don’t read that stuff, all I knew was there was a flux grenade change, I knew it would one shot, but I’m saying I didn’t expect the distance and travel time to be so massively increased.
I'm also surprised because normally everyone is right handed, but for some reason, you can throw the grenade like it's a god damn football... LEFT HANDED. And probably traveled at least 3/4 or more up the field too. What the fuck, Bungie. Lmao
The only difference between then and now is that it wasn’t an arc staff. It was arc blades. So it’s like spectral blades except they’re arc and a little faster.
Ngl, Perpetual Motion is an underrated perk on handcannons. Since you usually strafe a lot when using them, the extra stability and handing is very noticeable
It's almost like a weighted knife but from the opposite hand, and less windup till you throw maybe if we adjust for that kinda throwing arc? Idk, i don't even play arc staff lmao
My pve build has 100 Discipline, with all the solar wells for grenade regen and grenade kickstart mods and salvagers salvo on demo and a AR with demo. Things go boom ALOT
I used to run heart of inmost light with fusion grenades and what really annoys me is that flux grenades are now 1 shot but they nerfed the titan ones so that they won’t even when buffed.
“Okay that was a bad shotgun kill” It’s okay. That’s me literally every single time with a spread because I’m too used to slugs and stand super far back
I will admit, just like in D1, I'm not afraid to pop super to stay alive. I used to do it all the time when people stuck me and tried to run away like they had a free kill.
I don't know if I'd trust the cooldown time it shows on the stat. Mobility shows the same cooldown time for both dodges even though they're actually different. UI stuff needs fixing.
I kinda wish the animation of throwing it changed, instead of the overhand throw, make it like, a fast whip from the side as if you were skipping a stone across a lake, just to reflect the change in speed and arc of the throw
Hunters now have 3, and the other classes have none. Throwing Knife, Flux Grenade, Shatterdive(If you aim it at the center of people you will still one shot)
Wallah anytime you do a video showcasing grenades, you should use a weapon with demolitionist. On primaries you get 10% back per kill and on specials you get 20% back.
heres a thought,; if youre on bottom tree arc you could use a ricochet weapon to get you to red health for combat meditation to proc. idk if this works though.
At least each person only would only get one nade per round in trials tho. And they're sacrificing nades that make space for a skillshot pick nade. Way more fun than fighting stasis either way.
I don't have an issue with the grenades exactly, but I do find it kind of rich that they talked about getting rid of one-shot abilities and nerfed shatterdive only to turn around and give hunters another one shot ability. I'm not saying flux grenades are OP or that they need a nerf, at least not yet, but this kind of makes it seem like Bungie prioritizes keeping the Hunters happy over balancing the things they themselves have identified as issues
@@nickgrout2502 sure, and I can't deny that it's better, but all the one hit abilities are on one class now. It would've been pretty easy to make fusion and magnet grenades do the same thing, but they chose to make it exclusive to Hunters, which is what actually bothers me

It doesnt work if my teammates mow the dude down before the nade explodes
I wonder. Would something like Demolitionist work on that sub-class tree?
