Hello, I received my bachelor's and my master's degrees in computer engineering. I applied for a perm app and we are at the 3rd stage. that is to say, we did the prevailing wage det, and we did the recruitment phase and filed for the perm app but waiting for that result. would it be ok for me to get an associates of applied science from a community college in a computer related field and use day 1 cpt? or would that potentially get me in PERM app trouble
Those are 2 different things. Shouldn't be a problem.. but have you maxed out your h1b 6 years? It'll be worth it to consult with an immigration lawyer once
@@metugeleonel2614 what does that mean? Day 1 CPT is a loophole people use when they can't get through H1B lottery after their final attempt and they still have a job. So, if you're working then you'll be paid. The coll doesn't pay you to study there

If you have time, you should wait. But do check out colleges and their application processes to be prepared

You may not get the F1 Visa directly for a day 1 CPT course from India.
