There's nothing more satisfying than seeing that trapdoor come down with the fish inside!👍 Cheers, Chris Teaching kids about climate change and ocean acidification with corals in the classroom.
The tank is looking great Mok-yi. The toodstools and weeping willows you fragged look great. Glad the derasa clam is doing well after you moved the pesky algae Blenny out.
@ 3:49 your blenny is in your pink goni. I have a goni that looks identical and it's stinging the crap out of anything it touches. Does yours do the same?
I have a 5 year old, 4 year old, and a 2 year old. All of them at some point have had their hands in my sump, sticky fingers all over the glass or had epic meltdowns just as I put my arm in the tank. Having small children adds a whole new dynamic to reefing 🤣
@InappropriateReefer Yes, the sump is like the land of Narnia to kids 🤣 I did just end up putting magnetic child locks on the cabinet doors. It's great watching them grow and gain interest, it brings a whole new element of joy to the hobby 🙂
I found my lawnmower blenny lounging in my derasa clam. The clam didn’t seem to care, I have seen the blenny pick at the outside of the shell but not at the mantle.
I've never had to use a fish trap but I've got experience using similar traps for other animals. Wouldnt a weight at the top of the trap door help it shut faster?
No more doser on the Mangrove tank since I stopped dosing All-for-reef; I do use the Kamoer X-1 Pro T (amzn.to/3Q9gcOH). Absolutely love this pump for Kalk continues drip dosing. Reliable, quiet, can do continuous dose and tiny foot print.
@@jasonyang5296 yeah depends on the uptake, as well as your water evaporation rate (in case your Kalk dosing amount is more than your evaporation); I pair my Kalk dosing with 2-parts if Kalk outpace my evaporation and I have to cut back on Kalk, I’d lower the Kalk dosing rate and introduce the 2-Parts; or ATO in case the Kalk dosing is short and the system needs to replenish fresh water. (ATO turns on briefly for a few minutes such day )
Good Sir, If I may? Simplicity. I have followed you on and off, since I began my own journey in the Saltwater tank world. I possess 2 small tanks both of which have stability and some life growing in them. I have learned the importance of flow. I realize being monetized is important, but Simplicity is excellent.
The greatest cover photo of all time😂😂😂😂😂
A man of culture indeed
The girth feels familiar 😂😂😂
I come for the content but stay for the comedy.
I laughed so loud my husband looked up from the back of our acreage 😂😂
Thank you for being the only one that picked it up 🥲 Had to sprinkle a little “inappropriate-ness” back in the channel!
Come on man, we know it’s more like finger leather 😂
youre a pro now ever since that one too excitement mishap with the fish trap haha
We gotta learn from our mistake! 😆
Love the thumbnail you as garp and blenny dead or alive I billion 😂😂
There's nothing more satisfying than seeing that trapdoor come down with the fish inside!👍
Cheers,

Always a hit of a fish catching video!

It also sting the heck out of anything they tentacles could brush up against, that’s why it’s up against the front glass now
Love the content!! i learn something new every video. the clam looked way happier when the blenny was taken out
Ahhhhh nice relief with such a loooong video XD
I wanna buy some of that weeping willow!! Let's Make a Deal!!😊
👏👏👏👏👏
Well I know what time I’m taking my lunch break tomorrow
I feel your pain on the calm brother. Just lost my calm after 3 years. 1.5 inch to 12 inch. Still do not know why, but have a 12 soap dish now.
Sorry man 😢
Would love one.been looking for one for years..
Would love to have a frag of the weeping willow looks amazing

I routinely perform “toy check” in the sump now 🫣

Nice gonis.
Inappropriate Reefer time! Let's gooooooooooooooo

Dude please get a mandarin dragonet! Would love to see my favourite content creator covering my favourite fish.
Would love one for the 135g!
I had a sail-fin belly very similar to bicolor blenny and he kept bitten my clam to death it had white marks on the flesh.
I've never had to use a fish trap but I've got experience using similar traps for other animals. Wouldnt a weight at the top of the trap door help it shut faster?
That’s actually a good idea, thanks!
I've seen MANY algae blennies pick clams to death...
Hey do you have any weeping willow frags available? I am in the DMV area?
Hello, so i know you used auto doser on the 146 budget tank. Whats the update on it. Do u have any recommendations for a single doser for kalkwasser?
No more doser on the Mangrove tank since I stopped dosing All-for-reef; I do use the Kamoer X-1 Pro T (amzn.to/3Q9gcOH). Absolutely love this pump for Kalk continues drip dosing. Reliable, quiet, can do continuous dose and tiny foot print.
@@InappropriateReefer would a continuous dose for a 10 gallon be too much? Or would that depend on the coral intake n such

Zooxanthellae live in corals are a form of Dinoflagelate
Bada-ba 😂
How do I get in the wait list for a weeping willow and yellow toadstool?
I want a frag of weeping willow . Please

Can’t argue with keeping things simple! There is usually a decreasing return of cost & effort as well. High tech gear is a hobby all in it’s own!
This girth feels familiar. Lmfao
Are you selling any weeping willows
Forgot to knock on wood 😔 say goodbye to your clam…
My lawnmower blenny tore my fire shrimp to pieces, killed my diamond goby.. But i cant take him out because he is so good at keeping algae in check
Mangrove looks a lot better this way imo
Op edits
That is Sucks I bought a amazeballs goni and my powder blue tang almost destroyed in one day ,don’t touch the others gonis just the expensive one 😅
Oooof, they always go for the pricey corals right?
Always 😂

Patiently waiting for the “right pair”!
