- Erik, Nick, Chase head to Kyrgyzstan after Mid-Asian Ibex, but, before the hunting begins they must endure multiple days of grueling travel. Tag along as they nearly miss multiple flights, lose their luggage, and ultimately make it 8,000 miles across the world to the Tian Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan. what a dream hunt
That had the feeling of a trip where you hate it and are miserable at times, but look back on it shortly after and wish you were doing it all again.
Heck of a way to start of a trip. Pretty long trip but I know it would be well worth it. One of my bucket list trips for sure..

Hey guys, love the series so far after episode 1. I work as a consultant to the UN on biodiversity conservation projects, especially snow leopards and their prey (ibex...). I have worked quite a bit in Kyrgyzstan the past few years, even spending a couple nights in a yurt in Karakol. Your travel experience looks like my typical work trip! 😂 I'm trying to work with the government toward a vision of awesome hunting, with equitable benefits for local communities and outfitters that work to manage and harvest game species sustainably. I'd love to speak with you in detail sometime about your experience, as I work to bridge the gap between American hunters and the amazing Central Asian hunting opportunity.
