Currently watching Shameless for the first time, and heard this play in the ending to Season 8 Episode 7. I'll always be grateful for the impact the show is continuing to have on me. But now I have one extra reason for gratitude - because it showed me this. It's currently midnight and this is on loop. Honestly? The first thing it reminds me of is my simple desire to lay in bed in the dark with a future partner, with only the moonlight partially shining on our faces/hands. Just us embracing, with this playing in the background and feeling like the rest of the world is asleep. Or maybe just a slowdance with the right person, when the world seems too chaotic, and the only thing that matters is swaying side to side with the person that makes the chaos worth it. 💙
