If you haven't already, add a sign similar to the one at the monorail station which explains how the habitat was once for the polar bears but was changed to a raccoon habitat because there wasn't enough space for them
I’m born and raised in Vancouver, this such a staple in our city and very cool to explore if you’re in the park. So cool to see you build this! :) it looks exactly like the real thing!
This build is SO your style and I love the updates you've made to it with the raccoons. I walked past this on my visit to Vancouver last year but totally forgot about it until this episode! May need to go visit Van again soon just to take a peek 👀
I passed by the old Stanley Park polar bear habitat recently and it is currently full of overgrown brambles and spotted towhee. Spotted towhee are my favourite local bird and it seems like a good habitat for them, at least.
Woo Stanley Park & Vancouver mentioned! Wish it was for something better than a sad and defunct zoo but putting raccoons in is very fitting since stanley park is basically run by them.
Absolutely LOVE this habitat and the lore behind it! Really enjoy your story making/commentary it really brings the zoo to life! One thing I would like to see added is a few climable branches for them to get round and I think it would look tie into more of the renovation, can’t wait to see what you cook up next 🔥
Awesome build ZSH! The contrast of different colors and materials really makes it feel just right! Can’t wait to see the Polar Bears in their new and improved homes!
Such an inspiration based on the modern zoo habitats. This build alone can be modified for most of the animals in the game with small and cool features. I guess polar bears not this week, perhaps next week or week after? (got excited with the cool intro). Either way it is great to see how many different habitat possibilities you can do with even such basic animals in the game like the raccoon. Keep up the amazing work!
1:20 hey Z fyi if you dupe the pieces around the column you dont need to leave the group and dupe the column as well, if you stay in the group and just dont select the column the gizmo will still be centered! it took me way too long to figure that out but i learned it eventually from poisonblade
Hey ZSH! I absolutely love your videos and the amount of detail that you put into every habitat that you make. You were the main reason why I got interested in Planet Zoo. I jut have one question. I'm a console player and, like many people out there I'm sure, would love it if you would create some more builds on console so that we can use your creativity to help us in our builds. I know it's quite of a biggie but it would be really awesome. Again, love your vids and keep up the great work!
I know some people will be a bit disappointed that it wasn’t the poker bear habitat but if it’s by ZSH 11:36 plays you already know it’s gonna be a banger
surprised that this habitat wasn’t also in some way inspired by the old “bear pit” in the swiss capital of bern. they had something similar back in the day but built a newer much bigger and better one right next to it
Hi again, I was watching this series while building and I happened across something I wanted to ask about. I’m working on a habit for koalas that has an indoor & outdoor area. There’s a small tunnel above that connects them and a backstage hallway for the keepers. The problem is that I want the staff to use the hallway but not the koalas. Do you have any tips for how to make areas staff traversable but not traversable for animals?
As far as I'm aware this cannot be done for animals smaller than a human. You can use the animal hitboxes to achieve this if they are bigger but it won't work for little Koalas.
If you haven't already, add a sign similar to the one at the monorail station which explains how the habitat was once for the polar bears but was changed to a raccoon habitat because there wasn't enough space for them
Yeh I’ll do this before the final tour, ran out of time
The little bits of lore that you add make the zoo much more realistic and IMO a lot more solid and interesting. I love it!
Those poor irl Polar Bears! The build looks amazing as usual
Thanks!

Yeah! Raccoons are one the most underrated animals ❤ this crazy habitat suits their vibe perfectly 😂
Thanks!
Wow! Immediate memories of my childhood visiting Stanley Park!
Awesome!

Thanks! Did you go to the aquarium?
@@ZSHplays I did! It was a great trip, weather was perfect for all of the animals to be out and about.

Hah! More size appropriate I’m sure!

Hah, I wanna go there!

Yeh I’m not 100% happy with the ‘new’ version, will look to add more stuff
Really nice build! I love how you made a snippet of lore for the zoo :D
Glad you like it!
Awesome build ZSH! The contrast of different colors and materials really makes it feel just right! Can’t wait to see the Polar Bears in their new and improved homes!
Thanks!
I can’t believe how far along this zoo is getting 😢❤
I know!
Love this idea of taking old habitats and repurposing them in Planet Zoo. Great build! :)
Thank you! 😊
I love the lore starting to develop
LOVE this idea & execution, you absolutely nailed the vibes! Such a good episode!
Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic episode 😍🤩
Thank you!
WOOOOOO i can see why your excited about this!!! Great video and storyline!
Thank you!! 😁
Can't wait too see the polar Bear habbita

Omg yes!! I remember asking if raccoons were making it in because of the sign, love these little guys!
So cute
I would love to see more often this kind of lore
Me to, it takes a lot of effort for a weekly series though
You are one off y idols to be real love your videos
Thanks!
Love the idea with the lore of this one man
Thanks!
I saw a picture of this habitat with 4 polar bears while it looks like it's similar in size to the indoors area for Sun Bear in Łódź Zoo.
Yeh it was pretty crazy
When the series is done, are you able to make a compilation of all the franchise masters? Love the build as always
I've already done one, may do more though!

I will investigate this 😁
I used to work at the Vancouver Aquarium! It does a much better job than the zoo did (although the penguin habitat is a little sad)
I can't wait for the New Polar bear Exibith. I don't know how it's gonna look besides the terrain, but it's gonna be Amazing
That's the plan!
From pandas to trash pandas! Seeing these guys take over an abandoned space is kinda perfect, looks like just the natural course of things
I hadn’t considered that but I like it now you mention it!

@@ZSHplays No worries. Keep up the great work!
@@ZSHplays Oh and do you have any tips for getting habitats to look as natural and as modern as you make them?
I know some people will be a bit disappointed that it wasn’t the poker bear habitat but if it’s by ZSH 11:36 plays you already know it’s gonna be a banger
Anymore history on the other habitats of San Bernardino Zoo?
Most of the zoo is pretty new so not really. Obviously there’s the platypus, tropics house, monorail
surprised that this habitat wasn’t also in some way inspired by the old “bear pit” in the swiss capital of bern. they had something similar back in the day but built a newer much bigger and better one right next to it
Not seen that, old bear pits are always interesting though
Poor bear! 😢
In 3 weeks time, I think we’ll have a Frozen North tour. Next week’s the Wolverine and the following week is the Polar Bears finally!!!!!
There won't be a frozen north tour, it will be the end of the full zoo tour!
@@ZSHplays Sam Bernardino Zoo’s Complete!!!
Idea: you could by inspired by animália park, there habitats there are beautiful!!
Where is that?
In cotia são paulo
Please reply to me how do you make the circular buildings
It’s the mud pillar technique. I show you how in the ‘building realistic terrariums’ episode
How do you get the inspiration for your zoo entrance I've made one like 10times and I can't get something I like any tips?
Check out Mandai Wildlife Park

@@ZSHplays Darn, I was hoping there was a trick that I was missing. But that’s good to know for creating backstage areas for other larger animals!
Every time i imagen the polarbare jumping of a diving bord into the smal pool
If only PZ would allow it 😆
@@ZSHplays yha😅
Why did you choose the platypus house in the Australian house to be outside?
The only outside platypus habitat that I know of is at the toronga zoo
It was designed in the 1930s so I figured what the hell
@@ZSHplays they actually are sometimes active during the day, and The Taronga zoo in Sydney has an outdoor platypus habitat.
very ethical. very slay.
i had to pause build to watch it. it was that good.
Thanks plant pal!
I saw the thumbnail and immediately recognized Stanley Park 💀
I have to do it once
First
Congrats 😆
I’ve made a Somali wild ass habitat inspired by u on Reddit
Who else thought it was polar bears today?

Only real ZHS fans can like this comment 😎
I mean ZSH lol
E
Brother to be honest, this habitat is the worst.
