My only regret in life was not discovering them when they started
I discovered them prior to them to release their first album, and discovering back this treats from their early EPs where this track feature was awesome. I guess you had more treats to discover. The only downside i see is the opportunities to see them live in small venues. Now it's impossible.

You say that, however I went to see them in Manchester in the early days. Tiny gig, they were supporting at the academy. I absolutely loved them and had to stand in a crowd of people talking over them because they weren't appreciated as they should have been. It was so frustrating!
Although I'm happy they are getting the recognition they deserve now 🙂

There is something deeply spiritual about Sleep Token. It's not so much about the stage act, the catch phrase, the masks, or the out of this world concerts they give. When going down this rabbit hole of deeply emotional, hauntingly beautiful and achingly over wrought lyrics, one can't help but get lost inside multiple musical layers, the ambient abstracts of vocal echoing, and gorgeous vocals. The storyline is obvious, a toxic relationship paining Vessel. And anyone who has gone down this same road (with someone who does not love them back) and you really listen to the discography, you can expect an inner healing. a reshaping of your soul, if you allow it. I'm serious. You will belong to the night after you complete the ST discography, but in the best way possible.
I couldn't have worded that any better. Sleep Token is truly soul touching to me, and I find myself tangled up in the musical layers and his beautiful raw voice. I have never been so in love with music before, ST is unique and healing.
I cannot stop listen to them. It is so spiritual. Sometimes it is like that they are telling the history of my life and my relationships. It is so amazing and so strange.
That's exactly what happened to me...I was in love with someone who didn't want a relationship, and nothing could happen because he was on a finding "god" mission. 🙄 impossible.

It’s what I love about post rock music. The instrumentals and feel of the song brings you a story of emotion and they don’t even have singers in that genre. So his singing makes it even better.
How are they even a real band? I've never heard modern metal so compositionally and melodically perfect. Every song is a story from start to finish - an emotional trip in the greatest sense. The blend of expressive, R&B-esque vocals with modern metal/djent guitar work, and at times throwback punk-esque drumming is the breath of fresh air the metal scene needed. THIS is unique, THIS is new.
I've only just started listening to Sleep Token so I'm working my way backward in their discography and I simply cannot find a song I dislike. They've seriously cracked the code.

I first heard The Offering and I was hooked. His voice is so beautiful and pure. The drummer is so damn good too. I come back to them all the time.

Sleep Token is magic, mystery and immense talent. They are from another planet, every song is so intricate, complex, unique and hypnotizing. It's addictive af.

I dodged it on my recommended for about 2 weeks. Around November of last year I started down the rabbit hole and have yet to listen to a song from another band. Except maybe Blacklit Canopy. They get in there from time to time. ❤

Recently just found the band. They are one of a kind. I havent had a band in awhile make me feel things. Last one was Linkin Park. But this one. This band makes me feel alive and broken at the same time.

I think it's because Vessel didn't have peanut butter stuck on the roof of his mouth on his previous works. Not saying his new stuff is worse or better because damn, Sleep Token was the only band that made me create a separate playlist solely just for their songs

I frequently look back to 2017 when I first heard this song and I remember being sucked in straight away. I thought I was late finding them in 2017, but I see new people arriving here all the time and I honestly envy every one of you for being able to hear this song for the first time! I have similar with Kate Bush, who I've been a fan of since she released "Wuthering Heights" in 1978. However, beautiful though her music is, it doesn't give me the same shivers that Sleep Token's music does. Both Kate and Sleep Token/Vessel are total music geniuses in their own rights but oh my lord! Vessel's voice has such an immense amount of emotion in it that I feel broken and remade each time I hear another of their tracks.

I also found them through metal hammer. In the live show reviews (which are genius btw, they tell you what the band sounds like as well as reviewing the performance .) was reading a festival show, and I saw a picture of the singer throwing up a middle finger, reading an unidentifiable book, but it had the same ascetics as religious documents. Then the caption underneath stated Sleep Token: Anonymous awesomeness. I read the paragraph about the show. I remember the words through a hazy shroud, wierd, beautiful, interesting. Looked them the fuck up immediately and MIND FUCKING BLOWN!
I CAN'T stop listening to this band! Every day I wake up and listen and when I'm not gone doing things it's the same. I've NEVER heard such perfect music! Pitch tone rhythm timing and vocals. I swear these guys had to have studied Music in college somewhere. I May have just found them but I am addicted! Sleep must be One helluva diety!

Every time I listen to any of their songs. Something new appears and I've never come across something so beautiful. I can go on with the compliments but it would end up as an essay on why their music is everything.

Obvi a fan of ST, but man round of applause for the peeps behind the camera. Loved the angles of the instruments. The cuts, transitions, all so dope. I also always imagine the conversation that precedes getting the shot - “ok I’m gonna get real close up now just mush this charcoal thing in your mouth real good” hahahha
I don't know how to describe this band. Like I feel more alive when I listen to them and they make me feel better in some way.this band is my comfort. Absolutely incredible

This was my first impression of Sleep Token a couple years ago. When I first saw this video and heard his voice I couldn’t quite appreciate its authenticity back then like I do now because I was so used to the cut and dry nature of most modern metal nowadays. Ever since then I’ve grown to love and appreciate everything this band has done and I now consider this one of my favorite songs and videos, not just from this band but from all the music I’ve discovered over the years. WORSHIP.
I feel the same way except the first time I heard it I fell in love with vessel and now sleep token is almost all I listen to and I tell everyone I know about them and try to get them into them but not everyone gets it I guess.

@@GrizzyGoat Yeah, I know this. You just phrased it in such a way that made it sound like they're a metal band, which they're pretty damn far from tbh. They're more like art rock mixed with other genres and a hint of metal in how the rhythm guitar is written.

Oh, Vessel without his mask in close ups of his face! I like his hands, very slim and somehow elegant, I could watch that for hours. Its still somehow creepy and I don't understand everything thats happening here. Is that about Vessel becoming Vessel, the birth of this character? The music is good as always.

This song really helps me deal with the mental load of insomnia, im forever awake. I cant even sleep with my partner amd it crushes me, until i see her again in the morning it makes me forget i havent slept in days. To me its like wanting to sleep without it being chemically induced. Perhaps Sleep is maybe a deity i have been seeking myself, loathing fot the darkness in a way without it sounding morbid

I've been listening to Sleep Token for about a year now, and for some reason never really gave this one a chance.
This is now by far one of my top 3, if not top, Sleep Token song. This is truly a beautiful piece of art, is so powerful, and captures my heart and soul. I love Sleep Token so much.

I just discovered this band and man, sounds sooo beautiful and different. That voice is heaven, sounds like a mixture beetween the Kings of Leon's frontman and Sam Smith.

I was seeing Issues live and and seen that Sleep Token was opening for them so I checked them out. My goodness, first song was The Offering and the sound of the voice made me fall in love with this group. When the show came they sounded EXACTLY like their recordings while giving a hell of a show.
