Very cute purse and perfect for traveling. Love the compliments too I have to say. Next one I make will be easier. If you make one, but sure to watch ahead on the video while making the front part. Glad I have a new seam ripper...used it a lot. I also made my own strap from the main fabric. I cut a 4-inch strip (folded in half and then again and top-stitched). Next time I'll go 3 to 3.5 inches. And yes, I'll be making more of these.

You are a great teacher and your work is beautiful👌!!! In order for your viewers and followers to increase, may I suggest you do the following:
1. List your dimensions, the type of fabric, interfacing, cottons and accessories you are using to make your bags; and
2. In order to speed up making this bag, just leave an opening at the top of the bag, turn it, close it up with topstitching instead of the side, thus eliminating the need to close the side seem and wasting time.

la estoy haciendo pero me esta costando un poco al haber tan poca diferencia en el corte ejemplo: 17 × 18 , 8 × 8'50 me confundo en que lado van los cortes
En la parte trasera del bolsillo delantero se utiliza 17×18, y en la solapa del bolso se utiliza 8×8’50.Gracias🤗

You can. Get the book sleeve pattern from Sewn Ideas. It is exactly like this but is larger. I think this video copied her pattern.
I really wanted to make this for my granddaughter but you went so fast I just couldn’t keep up. I stopped and rewound 20 times trying to get measurements for everything. Just wish you could’ve went a little slower! I really like the looks of this bag.
