This video really helped me out, cheers mate!
Glad it helped 👍😃🐖
Great instructional video. Cheers 👍🏻
No worries, glad you like it 👍👍🐷
Excellent 👍
Thanks for the info.
Today is the day
Have fun!
Where is the washer on the drain plug? Has it got stuck on the drain pan hole as I have sometimes noticed in my other cars.
Watch and listen again from 2:30 👍
Nice work mate! What support point you used for the jack stand?
I'd use subframe near a mounting bolt usually
Nice video. But i think low saps oil its not ideal. Full saps A3/B4 its a better idea for Jazz
For this twin spark engine, no Vtec, no difference would be seen/found from that different oil. If you feel you wish to spend the extra on a £1000 1.4 jazz... Sure... But it really wouldn't make a difference in the long term
Can i put motul 8100 5w 30 efe c2,c3 in my honda jazz 1.4 i 2012 specifications oil?
What is that oil spesification ?. API SL or what ?
Can't remember off the top of my head, this was probably 18mths ago. C3 5w/30 though I believe, fully synthetic. If you're not sure what you need, check the manual or go to the dealership and be sure 👌🐷
Hello. Thanks for the video, but I noticed that you didn't replace the crush washer... Doesn't it take any?
Did you watch and listen at 2:35?? 🤔😉
@@PiggyPower, I did, but it's hard to believe that there are sump plugs without crush washers... Thanks anyway.
@@johnmano1439 why is that hard to believe?
@@PiggyPower, because in almost all of the oil change videos out there, you see the mechanic replace the crush washer, or not change it, but mention that it's best to do so...
@@johnmano1439 but this vehicle, along with most Honda's and a lot of other Japanese vehicles don't have that type of sump plug 👌🐷
Good video but microphone is very bad
What's wrong with the audio? Seems clear when I play it?
5:13 to 6.20 and maybe later too (I'll need to replay to find parts)
Also around 7.30
Let me be really clear .. it's annoying, it annoys me. But in post/editing there's little I can do. I can't redo the video. I get maybe a few £ from TH-cam to do a video like this. It takes maybe an extra 30-45min for a 30-45min job to film the tutorial. That again to edit and upload it. So my budget for high quality mics is low. Despite that, I am using a Rhode wireless mic for this! What else can I do?
@@PiggyPower no much I suppose. I thought I’d let you know, that’s all.
Was this Jazz used at all? I can't see a sea of rust like mine!
Got about 80k on the clock. Not lived by the sea if that helps
@@PiggyPower what plate is it? Mine has done 134k on an 07. The bloke that sold me it struggled to get in the car with me whilst he was wearing his stetson and 6 shooters.
The MOT was just passed.
It may as well have been written on spirograph.
I've basically bought the car twice.
@@BURP39R I can't remember. It's all about who has owned it rather than the age and mileage. Some cars at 200k are in better condition than some with 50k
@@PiggyPower true that. Like any car. Mine has a load of service, two keys, etc.
I think I should have paid attention to last receipts. They weren't that current.
When I move it on at least the new owner will see I've looked after it.
Hopefully I'll get a bit back.
my f***ing drain nut is stuck. the bolt is fine and 17mm socket fits, but no budge..
If it's not rounding off .. your not trying hard enough! Give it some heat (hot air gun)
39 NM ?
