When you think about it, this movie is VERY dark, especially for Rugrats of all things. The babies get lost in a gigantic wood and their parents dont even know where to start looking. Hell, one of them isnt old enough to walk or even sit up by himself. And then it transpires theyre being outright STALKED PREDATORILY by this utterly nightmarish wolf that seems like it was animated specifically to outright terrify children watching the movie.
