Ver-MONT is the name of my state. Your narrator pronounces it like "VERmint", which sounds a lot like a group of small disease-spreading mammals. Thank you for saying nice things about my state, but it's painfully obvious that you scraped this video from secondary sources instead of coming here to experience it yourself. We would encourage and welcome you - it's gorgeous and friendly.
It's even worse than you think. It's a computer-generated voice (lots of travel videos unfortunately use them) and I wouldn't be surprised if the content was also written by AI and pared with stock images. Hardly a penny was spent on this video, but it might be raking in advertising money for its "creators."
Being from the Midwest, here I thought I was pronouncing Vermont incorrectly this entire time. Glad it’s not me though, and it’s actually the narrator who is mispronouncing. 😂
As someone who spent 15 years teaching at Middlebury College, and traveling a lot around the state, this evokes many memories. Thank you for screening!
I doubt you actually visited Vermont since you can't pronounce the name of the state and some of its locations. Probably just scraped text from other travel sites.
It's a computer-generated voice. Unfortunately, a lot of travel videos use them. It's very jarring. I can't imagine it would be too expensive to hire a human to narrate. And you're right. The computer probably never visited Vermont.
This is a beautiful video showcasing the best of the best in Vermont!
Bennington, Vermont is also a historic city you should visit. Visit the Bennington monument.
I really love Vermont

thanks fellow Vermonter
Pretty sure it’s ai but I agree
Thank you. I found the constant mispronunciation distracting. I also wonder if the narrator has ever visited.

@@dzt0111 yup. Good observations. The people who generated this would never survive in Vermont. There's too much nature and reality here.

The "narrator" is an AI robot. Yuck.
Thanks for video, just please say the names right. Vermont is often said Ver-Mont, but most vermonters don't put a hard t sound at the end!
It's a computer-generated voice. Sadly, many travel videos have them.
It's crazy people live here. You NEVER hear about Vermont as a state when considering the whole of the United States.
Right on

Have you ever heard of the shelburne museum
Surprised she didn’t include Vergennes

I noticed that...

Not just scraped, but narrated with a robot. Blecccch.
*shows a picture of Rutland for Montpelier* 💀💀💀
"Vermint" funny.
I actually live in Vermont
Another AI voice ... * sigh * ... and I was looking forward to this. Oh, well. NEXT.
You forgot to mention ST Anne's shrine in Isle Lamotte.
West Rutland in Rutland is the best out of the best and deserve the first place the people there are so nice trust me I live there
Hmmm
The person narrating this video doesn't know how to pronounce many of the locations or even the states name.
Vermon-t 😂😂😂 Nooooo
Try pronouncing the state right first before commenting on it
Everytime a name of a video was written in the down left corner i thought it was the name of the city at first.
this is mostly a load of nothing… waste of time
