When Mr. Cosby made it a point to portray women on his show so respectfully and insisted that the character of Claire be accomplished and independent in her own right who set such a great example for her daughters AND son, it's very difficult for me to believe that he did what he's accused of doing. If he did, he had to have had a radical change of attitude between the 60's and the '80's.

Actually, men like Bill are the ones who do the sinister acts. Its usually not the bum on the streets but the one people look up to. That's how they stay covered and unnoticed. And, if they're notice none would ever believe what is uncovered. That's the sad truth.

Kim Albrecht 1) i don’t drink 2) the video just hit my feed and 3) you said they don’t make them like that any more. As though elegant jazz singers have been discontinued like an old model of automobile. I assure you they still exist in the modern era. It’s not a lost art form. Does THAT make sense? Since you attempted to slander me with the booze remark, if this comment doesn’t make sense maybe I can find a crayon font that will make it more palatable for you’re apparently feeble mind.

Respectfully I say this just a cliche to your comment, not as an attack. The hell it has, there's nothing anyone can say or do to tarnish him. Ever!!! This is part of what has caused the Afro-American community to become so weakened and destitute. As soon as we hear some mess we run with it, except it and behave in it. Damn that!!! Dr. William Cosby, Ed. D and this show are still great. Our people are still great and will continue to be greater.

Notice she unlike all the singers now a days & these singing competitions did not have to yell sing to show how loud they can sing or even hold a really long note. My point is soft subtle story telling ways is so much better & profound. What a great performance here.

i agree or they lip sing like Maria Carey did on New Years night and then in the middle of the song they say screw it..lol Starz of Ms.Horne's day had to Sing,Dance and Act. Unlike most celebrities of today. You either can have the good looks and no talent. Or get on reality television fight, call everyone on the show your with every name that you can think of but the child of God, or you can become famous just by putting yourself on TH-cam and film yourself and your everyday regular like. We got it easy...lol

She is 67 or 68 years old here, believe it or not. Stunning looks, stunning voice. One of the true greats. If you look at some of the last TV appearances she did just twelve years later, she looked a great deal older---- but still a beauty, and still singing spectacularly even at age 80, just like she sang beautifully at age 25. A great artist & classy lady. She's retired now at age 92, but I hope she knows how much she is loved, respected, and appreciated.

The Cosby Show TRULY showed the CORRECT way "Black Lives Matter" was suppose to be. He didn't do it by downing others, causing division, or even talking about race. He simply decided to bring some of the beauty of black culture to prime time and let people have a taste. He just "Showed the Beauty" and NO ONE had to feel bad about themselves with it. ALL WERE WELCOME TO IT!! THAT was beautiful!!

Ironically enough, while visiting a Brigitte Bardo site, someone left some comments that were so rude about BBs present (probably non-surgically enhanced) appearance (she is 73) that I took exception, and we traded some nasty e-mails. Apparently Ms. Horne made different choices. When I read 'Nadrian's' comments, I wonder, what has he/she *ever* done to make the world take notice? At Ms. Horne's age I'll be happy just to be vertical.

When I was a child, her face actually used to scare me. This time in her life, was when I was first introduced to who she is. I didn’t grow up in a hole where culture and information were paramount. It wasn’t until later in life, I found out who she was. And I absolutely loved her story. Haha. I think her face scared me because I thought she looked like that old scary dude from poltergeist. She is beautiful though, Ofcourse. My little mind couldn’t see the difference. Lol.
