I agree, its more fun and challenging. Land Rover emphasised axle flex to maintain grip under off-road driving. As @jasoncaisley5071 says. Have you tried filling and packing the diffs with thick high viscosity grease? Marine grease for salt water use for example? You get a lot more traction, but still very good manoeuvrability.
i will try to put 1000000 oil to my K10 and Lc80 to see.I still got 1981 made 1000000 diff oil new in box. i bought 2, one for Land Jump 1/8 rear diff.
I like all vehicle with diff at axle, as it is good for turn. problem is off road, you need good suspension and you need chose the right way to pass the rough road. but it is good, most 1/1 real SUV do not have 100% diff lock, only very few real SUV or 4wd off road vehicle got 100% diff lock. 1979 all Tamiya off road model no diff. i need order them from USA, a diff price same as half car price.hoilday buggy just USD20, but Diff is 12, any one still got this Diff? i like to buy one, used is OK. cool Vic r those diff,s out of the smasher / high roller MT ,,u could even pack those diff centre's with a really thick grease and have like a limo/ LSD maybe still cool both ways good for speed . FMS make a high speed brushed motor really cheap really quick but a little noisy'but bolts straight in
yeah cool Vic but the only problem using oil is if they are smasher diff,s there is no orings on the outdrives which creates a seal so oil will just leak out i think unless u r using some other type diff well i should shut my mouth i know u r not a fool cheers vic have fun @@victorma1141
victor did u see injora,s new brushless combo very cool very cheap 30 amp speedy and i think it was 3600 kv motor for like 60$ USA price a lot cheaper than furitek
my 1/12 VW never got problem even 4 of 2WD VW82,82e and Type 18 police car and type 51 i use to off road at my Garden.like my 1/1 VW 82 and 82e. for Land Jump 4wd buggy no use, as it is a 1/8 and use 3.5cc 21 class engine when i am very young.
