I sang this with the Oakland Youth Chorus in 1984 when I was a wee 19 y/o... I still remember the Tenor part w/o the music.

Can I just say that I remembered every single word of this from singing it in my HS Acapella choir in 1976-80. I was a First Soprano then and sang along with you now. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. I have tears from the memories. Thank you so much! You have an amazing voice! I'm so happy you shared this with us. Respect!

    Bonjour. Belle réalisation, merci.
Une petite erreur basses au moment du "sa cra men tum", une note de trop qui n'est pas sur la partition.
    Bonne journée.
P.S.: une vidéo complète de chaque voix aurait été la bienvenue.

Beautiful but the order (also of recording) should be #1 - upper voice #2 - lower and then middle ones...

You should wear socks on your feet. You should not hit your wife. I should be able to voice my opinions. I shouldn't strive to be 100% objective. You think you're defending freedom of art but you're just trolling :)@@rugby8-Philadelphia

      .....wow
..........I'm not really sure what you are talking about 😊
Of course you are entitled to your own opinion. You do yourself a disservice when you act as though your opinion is the only valid one.
When you study Music Theory - particularly 4 part writing rules as codified by Bach - you are given anout 9000 rules of what Can't be done, what Must be done - no 3rd in the Bass, do not double the 3rd, Leading Tones should resolve Upward, etc. Once you excel at this, and understand the point of the rules, a good teacher will tell you it is now time to not Mimic Bach, but to find your Own musical voice.
You have preferences, I get that - I do too. But, that's what they Are - Preferences.
      They aren't Fact
Hope that clears up what I meant.

You are right that it does me a disservice to act this way. It's not about rules. It's more of a general thing. There is a natural hierarchy of importance. The main melody generally is the heart of the music. Humans always sang songs. The bass, together with the melody creates the contour and the frame of the entire harmony. Inner voices are by nature more stagnant and "boring". That's in a nutshell. @@rugby8-Philadelphia

Sorry --but I DISAGREE Completely. Stagnant writing leads to Stagnant performing. My guess is that you pound out rhythms with a metronome, observing the precision of every "dot" . Inflexible music = Yawn.
Boring "middle voices" as you call them - often Boring arrangement. Looking for a grade, or music to reach, move, touch an audience.
Whatever would you do in a situation where the melody is in the second part? Harmony above And below - below harm9ny often required to cross with the melody?
      The "Boring voices" are Crucial.
